STEVIE SINCLAIR is a workaholic assistant district attorney and she’s also recently divorced. After making a fresh start in Dallas, Texas, she quickly finds herself walking in her ex-husband’s shoes when a stranger catches her eye and she catches his. They don’t speak a word to each other though—not until a week later when they happen to cross paths again. Time then moves quickly and Stevie is faced with a difficult choice that could cost her everything. While the universe hands her lessons on perspective, she becomes acutely aware of just how blind justice is. As Stevie’s world goes from black and white to ever-deepening shades of gray, she struggles with whether to follow her heart or her head.

ZAC BUCHANAN is a devoted husband, father, and defense attorney, and is seen as everyone’s favorite all-American boy living the dream. He’s also a walking testament that you never really know what happens behind closed doors. While he does his best to keep up appearances, his world begins to unravel when a stranger, who feels very familiar to him, shows up and sees through his mask. It becomes increasingly difficult for Zac to continue being the man behind the curtain and he is finally faced with a hard choice: risk everything by letting the curtain fall or keep playing it safe to protect the person he loves the most.

Do souls travel together throughout lifetimes? Do they make pacts to reunite again and again as they experience love, passion, joy, pain, and sorrow?
