“Do you ever go swimming at night?”

“Ifloatin my pool at night is what I do,” I chuckled. “I lie on my back in the water and stare up at the sky. It gives me the sensation of floating in space. I know that sounds weird.”

“No, it doesn’t.”

“Do you ever go swimming at night?” I asked, then held out my hands toward Malcolm. Without hesitation, he walked back over to me, and I picked him up and hugged him while he rested his head on my shoulder.

“I do go swimming at night and I do the same thing that you do,” Zac said. “I also get the same sensation of floating in space.”

“Another likeness between us, Buchanan.”

“Maybe one of these nights, we can—you know.”

And I did know. He wanted the two of us to go swimming together sometime after the sun had set. He didn’t want to say that in front of Malcolm, though, and I understood why.

“That’d be nice.”

Zac smiled and walked over to pick up his cellphone and car keys out of the grass. Then he picked up his running shoes, socks, andDestin, Floridat-shirt off the pool deck. After putting everything back on, I asked him if he wanted to wrap himself and Malcolm up in a couple of my beach towels for their drive home.

“I’ll take one for my boy, but I’m good. My shorts are barely damp now.”

I got up from my chair while still holding on to Malcolm and grabbed a dry beach towel out of my storage bench. After wrapping him up in it, I asked him if he’d had fun today. He nodded yes and then he leaned against me again. After hugging him and kissing his cheek, I stood back up straight and the towel that I’d wrapped around my waist came undone and fell onto the patio floor. Zac had already seen the top of my black bikini but not the bottoms and they left very little to the imagination. I hadn’t planned on being this exposed in front of him or Malcolm, but it was too late to do anything about it now.

When I looked up at Zac, he was in the process of canvassing me with his eyes. After he was done, he let out a long sigh.

“What is it?” I asked.

He shook his head back and forth. “Nothing.”

“Sure about that?”

“No, I’m not sure aboutthat, but I am sure it’s best that my boy and I go home now.”

“And if you didn’t?”

“Something might get started here between y-o-u and m-e if someone fell a-s-l-e-e-p again,” he said, glancing at Malcolm and I had to smile.

The first reason was Zac spelling out his words to keep his precious little boy, still standing in front of me, out of our conversation loop. I thought it was so cute. The second reason I smiled was that I knew exactly what would get started between Zac and me if he and Malcolm stayed here and Malcolm fell asleep again. Not in my lap but somewhere inside the house, such as on my couch or in my guest bedroom. I knew Zac and I would have sex. I also knew how many times I’d already imagined that very thing happening.

Zac kept staring at me, then shifted his feet, and a low, brief groan escaped his throat. I instantly knew what he’d really just done. He shifted his cock around. Although his t-shirt perfectly fit him, it wasn’t long enough to completely cover the front of his gray running shorts. I could see the beginning of his erection and even the outline of the tip of his cock. His shorts still had enough dampness in them to make what was happening beneath them that much more visible and I liked what I saw. Zac was an extremely well-endowed man.

“I’ll walk you out to your car,” I said, stealing another glance at the front of his shorts.

Zac bit down on his bottom lip and grinned at me. He knew I was checking out his cock and I didn’t care.

“Okay.”

“Are you sure you don’t want a towel to wrap up in?”

“I’m sure. I’ve got that bag that I brought with me. I’ll use it as camouflage because I wouldn’t wanna alarm any of yourneighbors if they saw what was going on with me at the moment—thanks to you.”

“You’re welcome,” I giggled. “And I’m not worried about my neighbors.”

“Here, let’s get you wrapped back up before we walk out front.”

Zac came over to me and bent down to pick up my towel. As he was standing back up, I watched his eyes trail up my body. After looking into my eyes like he could devour me, he slowly wrapped my towel around my waist and when he was done, he, the little Buchanan and I walked into my house.

While on our way to the front door, Zac kept his hand on the small of my back, guiding me, while Malcolm and I held hands. When we stepped onto the front porch, I looked over at Zac’s Blazer and then back at him.
