“Has your engine been running this whole time?” I asked.

“No, I auto-started it from my phone before we came out here.”

“Oh, I didn’t realize you’d done that.”

“Gotta cool down the car for little man there,” Zac said, looking at Malcolm.

After strapping him into his car seat, I kissed the top of his sweet head and then told him how happy I was that he’d come over to swim with me. He smiled, looking just like his daddy with that dimple in his right cheek showing again and those sky-blue eyes.

After I stepped away from him, Zac said, “Son, you wait right there for me. I’ll get in the car in a minute. Okay?” Malcolm nodded, and Zac tossed the bag that he’d been covering the front of his shorts with into the floorboard, closed the car door, and looked at me. “Do you mind walking around to the back of my car so I can talk to you?”

“That’s fine. Let’s go.”

When we reached it, he turned to me and asked, “Are we really doing this, Stevie?”

“Doing what?”

He sighed out a smile. “You know what I’m talking about.”

“Yes, I do.Thisis the beginning of an affair, Zac. Something I never thought in a million years I’d have with someone. You know I was raised by a preacher-man and you also know my ex-husband had an affair while we were married.”

“I’ve thought about all of that.”

“After meeting you, though, and getting to know all about you—well, I’ve realized a person can’t understand the position that you and I have found ourselves in unless they’ve traveled down this pathway. They can’t understand why we’d intentionally choose to commit adultery knowing how wrong it is. Although you and I have only kissed, we both know it was wrong—and what I’ve already imagined you doing to me, long before today, is really wrong.”

“What have you imagined me doing to you?”

Before answering Zac, I looked at his lips, admiring them and also the dark brown razor stubble surrounding them. Then I ran my eyes along his chiseled jawline, shadowed by even more razor stubble. After that, I let my eyes wander down the full length of Zac’s tall, muscular body and then met his gaze again.

“I’m just gonna say it, Buchanan, and it’s that I’ve imagined you fucking me in my bed, in my shower, in my swimming pool, in the woods at the running trail, on a beach. You name it. I’ve imagined your lips, your tongue and your hands all over my body, and also your cock so deep inside me that I lose complete control of myself.”

Zac shifted his feet again, letting out a deeper groan than earlier. When I looked down, I noticed his erection was coming back. Quickly. This time, he put his hand against the front of his running shorts and adjusted his cock.

“God, what you’re doing to me saying all of those things,” he whispered.

“You asked.”

“Yes, I did.” Another adjustment of his cock then he said, “Stevie, I’ve imagined the same things that you have except I had you inmybed, inmyshower, and inmyswimming pool. I’ve imagined fucking you in those three places and also in the woods at the running trail, as well as on the Destin, Florida beach. And every time I’ve imagined fucking you—hardandslow and easy—I made you lose complete control of yourself. I made you cum unlike you ever have and you did the same for me.”

Although it wasn’t showing on me like it was on Zac, I was just as aroused as he was. I could feel the wetness in my bikini bottoms.

“To answer your question about if we’re really doingthis… Yes, we are. Unless you wanna stop everything right now. And if you do, I understand,” I said, glancing in Malcolm’s direction.

“I don’t wanna stop a thing.”

“Neither do I.”

“Are you nervous, Sinclair?”

“Of course I am. This is foreign territory to me and I’m not sure how to navigate it.”

“Same here.”

“I know. Areyounervous about what’s happening here between us?”

“Yes. My heart is pounding.”

“I have to say one more thing and it’s that I have no expectations of you, Zac. I understand your circumstances and if, at any point, you feel likethisneeds to stop, then just tell me. Okay?”
