Rachel Hamill has a knack for selling houses—so much so that she’s considering starting her very own real estate brokerage a couple of years ahead of schedule.

Unfortunately, her knack with men isn’t so great and after kicking the last one out of her bed, she resolves to take some time off from dating them. Perhaps after a while, she’ll finally learn to make better choices.

Dr. Ainsley Janowicz is one of Southern California’s top surgeons. After landing an exciting new job at a hospital north of San Diego, what she needs now is a new house in Carlsbad to go with it. She thinks she’s found the perfect one: three bedrooms, a kitchen to die for and within walking distance of the beach.
