He reared his head. “What the fuck, woman?”

I grinned. “Next time, you’ll let me finish.”

He smacked my ass. “We’ll see.”

“Stay put.” Pulling out of me, he headed to the bathroom. He returned with a warm washcloth, leaning down to kiss me gently. “You tired?”

“Not really. You?”

“Nope. You wanna head down to the theater and watch a movie?”

“Oh my god,” I breathed out. “Sex, wine, and a movie with my man? Hell, yes.”

He laughed. “Okay, go get comfy while I make a call. I’ll meet you down there.”

He didn’t have to ask me twice.

Two days later, Wrath had been gone on some mysterious ‘errand’ for almost twenty-four hours, Raquel was busy with her kids, and the club wasgetting ready for an inevitable lockdown, which meant I was lonely and bored. After making myself a sandwich, I headed back to my desk to try and get some work done.

Against my better judgement, I went back down the rabbit hole of looking for Tackle’s sister and seeing if I could get more of my video removed when I noticed (far too late in my search) that I was no longer seeingmyvideo.

At all.

I frowned. I didnothave the skills to go that deep.

Only my brother did.

I anchored my heel on my chair and settled my chin on my raised knee as I thought about this fact, and I let out a quiet squeak.

Pushing away from my desk, I rushed downstairs, and almost slammed into Scooby as he walked out of the kitchen. “Whoa, sweetheart, where’s the fire?”

“Where’s Sundance?”

“Home, why?”

I let out a frustrated grunt. “Do you know where Wrath is right now?”

He raised an eyebrow. “No.”

I narrowed my eyes. “Do you really not know, or are you protecting your brother?”

“I really don’t know,” he said. “He probably didn’t tell me, so I’d have plausible deniability.”

“Yeah, that makes sense.” I rolled my eyes. “Do you know whowouldknow?”

“Sundance.”

“Anyone else?”

“Maybe Tango.”

I dropped my head back with a groan and asked, “Where’s Tango?”

“Don’t know off the top of my head,” Scooby said. “But I can find out.”

“Oh, fuck it,” I hissed. “I’ll find him myself.”
