It was just going to highlight that they were all successful at life and he was a loser that continued to mess things up. The consequence of all those mistakes seemed to be that he would spend his life alone watching everyone else find happiness.

No way was he getting any sleep now. His brain was buzzing on overdrive and adrenaline was coursing through his body. He was going to have to work off some of this energy if he was to have any hope of catching a few hours sleep.

He may as well go for a run.

Alone.

Nate may as well get used to spending a lot of time on his own. His friends were all moving on with their lives, and while he knew they would always include him in their families, how much time could he spend watching them enjoy the very things he had lost?

He honestly didn't know the answer to that.

He was already dressed in sweats, so he slipped on some trainers, and headed out into the night, hopefully to let the mindlessness of running clear his cluttered head.

10:50 P.M.

She had a plan.

Was it the best plan? She wasn't sure.

Would it work? She wasn't sure of that either.

Georgia just knew she had to do something, and this was the best she had been able to come up with.

She knew she couldn’t stay here. She couldn’t submit to Leo’s rules. She couldn’t be the person he wanted her to be. She was going to get punished over and over again. She was going to end up making him so angry that he would kill her.

So, she had to escape or die trying.

Her plan was pretty basic. Arm herself with a weapon, then attack him when he came through the door. Hope she managed to hurt him enough that she could get out the door, close it behind her if there was time, then run for help.

Finding a weapon had been difficult, there wasn't much inside her fancy prison. The furniture was heavy and there was nothing she could really do with it to incapacitate him. He had taken the utensils he’d brought for her to eat lunch and then dinner with. He’d left her with a stack of books that she was supposed to read and study and presumably learn something from, but they weren’t an effective weapon either.

Georgia had to be careful when searching for something to use to try to take down Leo because she didn't know how many cameras he had hidden in here and which parts of the room they were aimed at. For all she knew, he had them covering every inch of this place, including the bathroom.

Along with his list of rules on what she was and was not permitted to say and do, had been a list of rules about her appearance. She must dress nicely at all times, she must have her makeup on at all times, her hair must always be styled, and she must make sure her underarms and legs were shaved every second day.

That meant there were razors.

The blades were small, but they were better than nothing and the best she had to work with right now. Before preparing herself for bed, she had made a show of pretending to follow the rules and shaving, then in case he was watching her she had slipped the shaver head into her pocket then put on a nightgown and gone to bed. Under the cover of her blankets and the dark room she had worked on removing the blades.

Now she had them free, but she wasn't sure of the best way to use them. She had sliced up her fingertips working the blades out, she could try and find something to put them in and make a knife of sorts, or she could keep them as they were and try to slice Leo while he was unaware she even had them on her. But she wasn't sure how effective that would be, she needed to hurt him enough that she could get away.

Hurt him or kill him.

Never in her life would Georgia have thought that she would even contemplate taking a life, but now, if it was the only way she could survive she would kill Leo. Kill him without a second thought or an ounce of regret.

ShehatedLeo.

She didn't know how she had thought that she was in love with him. She didn't even know him. Everything he had told her was a lie. He had played her. He told her everything that she wanted to hear so that she would agree to meet him, and he could take her. None of it had been real. All she knew about him was that he was violent, insane, and wanted a woman who was an obedient slave.

How could she have been so stupid?

Georgia had never felt so humiliated in all her life. And being spanked as punishment by Leo was the icing on the cake.

She couldn’t stay here.

She literally would rather die. And it was inevitable anyway. He was going to kill her, she knew that. It was only a matter of time and then he would kill her just like he had killed the other woman in the limousine.
