His eyes lit up with desire and love as I stood before him completely naked. “You’re so beautiful, Harper.”

His words filled my heart. “And difficult?” I straddled him again.

He grinned. “Sometimes, but I like it. You keep me on my toes. You make me feel.”

“Hmm…feel what?” I rubbed my pussy over his dick. He hissed and I groaned as shimmers of pleasures flooded my body.

“Love.”

I sank down on him, joining our bodies, our hearts, our souls. “Love.” I repeated.

“Forever.” He nibbled on my ear. “I have a ring, by the way. I just…well…Anne said it wouldn’t be ready for a few days, but I couldn’t wait. I had to make you mine.”

“Anne?”

He nodded. “I commissioned a ring from her. Of course, Bran made me agree to model a watch.”

I laughed. “Oh God.”

“It will be worth it. Having you and Mo and this little life we made.” He pressed his hand on my belly. “I’d model anything Bran wanted me to.”

“You say the sweetest things.” I rocked over him, and all conversation stopped. Our bodies moved together, giving and seeking pleasure.

“Fuck…” he groaned. “I’m coming…I love you, Harper…fuck how I love you.”

I was there too and his words were the final push I needed. I cried out my love for him. As I collapsed, boneless against him, I savored the happiness. Happiness that I’d never felt before.

The following week, we had a small wedding ceremony with friends and family on the beach behind our houses. I'd already put my home up for sale and it had sold quickly to a young businessman out of New York who, through a weird twist of six degrees of separation, was the nephew of Zach Clarke, a friend of a friend of Archer's.

Two weeks later, we were in a Mexican court and the judge was signing papers that made Mo legally our son. At the recommendation of our lawyer, when we returned home, we filed re-adoption papers in the United States so that we could get a US birth certificate and a US adoption decree.

We were a family. With Noel and Mo, I finally felt as if I had the direction and a purpose that I’d longed for. Sure, I found fulfillment working with Boss Kid, but it wasn't until Noel and Mo came into my life that I felt whole. We still occasionally butt heads, but misunderstandings and distrust were long gone.

We both knew that our love was forever. We proved it to each other every day with words and gestures.

And, as a side note, the record of orgasms Noel has given me in one night is eight. Not that Lupe will ever know from her jail cell in Mexico.

Sometimes I felt bad for both her and Bastion. They had Noel in their lives without really knowing the man he was. They turned on him. When I think about what I thought of Noel and how I treated him in the beginning, I know that I could have made the same mistake. I was so grateful that I hadn’t.

Now, I made sure he knew every day that he was loved and valued.

Every day he made sure I felt the same.

EPILOGUE

Harper – Six Months Later

I stood in the shower, letting the warm water sluice over my very large belly. I was due any day, but as far as I was concerned, our baby couldn’t come soon enough. I was ready to meet our son or daughter.

At the same time, I wasn’t sure I was ready to be a mother of two babies. Mo had just turned one and was walking everywhere. How was I going to keep up with a one-year-old and care for a newborn?

The door to shower opened and Noel stepped in. His lips ran along my neck and shoulder as his hands slid around to my belly. My self-doubt dissipated. With Noel, all things were possible.

“Do we really need to go to this party tonight?” he asked.

“I told Kate we’d be there.”

Kate’s brother Ethan had just been officially made CEO of MacLeod Capital Investment since Dane, who was only forty-five or so, decided to retire to spend more time with his wife, Bridget, and twin children.
