“You mean with Decker? Yeah, we kicked his ass,” Alexander said. “He claimed Luke stole a fucking cheap ass watch from him, and we beat a confession out of his little pal, Jonesie. So that’s all wrapped up.”
“No, I mean with Victoria and Alexander,” I said.
That got their attention. Luke raised his eyebrows and said, “What?”
I explained quickly what I’d seen and then went into who Harlow and I had just chased at the fight.
“Wait, you saw a guy who looked like Alexander?” Luke asked. “How drunk are you?”
“Not that drunk!” I yelled, tired of being asked that. Everybody just assumed I saw things depending on how many canned vodkas I downed at Decker’s party. “I know what I saw, both in the bedroom and at the fight.”
“She didn’t expect us to be at the fight,” Harlow said. “She was one shocked bitch. It was awesome.”
“I noticed that she was really freaked out to see us there,” I said. “I don’t even think she expected to see Alexander.”
“They would have stayed at Decker’s party if those guys hadn’t gotten drunk and gone after Luke,” Rome said. “Their stupidity ruined Victoria’s plan.”
“I guess it’s a good thing they’re so stupid, or Victoria would have gotten away with it,” Harlow said.
We were standing in a circle in front of Alexander and Rome’s dorm building. There were lights around the base of the building that cast long shadows of the five of us. The campus was silent after the fight, and there was a hushed feeling around us. In the distance, a burst of loud voices and laughter drifted over on the wind, but it ended as fast as it came.
“She didn’t get away with it, though,” I said after a couple of moments. “We saw her, and now we need to know what that was all about. We have to find the fake Alexander.”
“What if I’m the fake one?” Alexander chuckled and raised his eyebrows. “What would you do then?”
“I guess I’d have to admit that I want to get down and dirty with a subpar model,” I grinned.
“There’s no way you’re the fake. I’ve known you too long,” Rome said, and then his lips twitched, and he looked at Alexander with an eyebrow raised and a cocky smile on his face. “Unless that’s the reason I beat you in that cross country race last week. If that’s the case, I say we keep the fake, so I’m the fastest one at Crimson.”
“Never gonna happen,” Alexander laughed and shoved him playfully. “That was the day Willow drained me dry before the race. I thought I was going to run off the fucking road thinking of her lips wrapped around my cock.”
“So that’s the secret,” Luke said. “I think I’ll have her work her magic on you two before the spring track and field meet. I’ll come in first.”
“But we’ll come before you, so is it really winning?” Rome asked with a grin.
“Fuck, no,” Luke said. “I didn’t think about that part.”
“Could you guys please stop talking about me like I’m a slab of meat?” I asked and pretended to be angry about it. I stomped my foot and added, “I mean, I’m right here.”
“You don’t like us talking about fucking your face, little sparrow?” Alexander asked, his hand snaking out to hold me by the back of my neck. “You don’t like us talking about shooting our loads deep down your throat?”
“I don’t know if she has a problem with that,” Luke said, standing close to my left side. He touched my hip and slid his hand to cup my ass. “She might have a problem if we don’t make her scream our names first.”
“How does she want us to do that?” Rome asked, crowding to my right side and cupping my pussy through the tight dress. “Should we take her back to your room and see how she likes it, Alexander?”
“Excuse me,” Harlow said in a snarky voice. She sighed dramatically and shifted from one foot to the other. “I’m right here, too. And I know I might have kissed your girl earlier, but I’m like, the opposite of horny at the moment. I want to go to bed.”
All three of them swiveled their heads to look at my friend.
“Alone!” she barked and shook her head. “Fucking hell, the four of you are like a big stew of hormones. It’s ridiculous.”
“I’ll walk you back,” I told her. I stepped away from my guys, and I could practically hear them all groan in frustration. As much as I wanted to spend the night with Alexander, I couldn’t be caught on the men’s side, or I would be expelled or humiliated or both. My parents were so distant, and I only got a single letter once a week about their going ons, but there was a part of me that wanted them to be proud of me. Shitty parents were better than no parents, and although I still felt like I was an orphan, I did appreciate the comfort mine provided for me.
“Come on, my bed’s big enough for a few of us,” Alexander pouted. “Please? I want to wake up with you, little sparrow. I long to sleep next to you.”
“Calm down, Fido,” Luke said and pulled Alexander back. “I’m sure Rome will cuddle up in your bed if you’re that desperate for companionship.”
“Rome steals the blankets,” Alexander grumped. “And I don’t like rubbing my legs against somebody who’s hairier than me.”
