“Yes, that. Don’t act all innocent.”

I burst out laughing.

“Where are you?” he asks.

“Just walking.”

“Done with classes?”

“Yes.”

“Head on over to my place.”

“Who all is there?” I ask, hoping I sound casual.

“Just me.”

“Just you? Huh.”

“Hurry up. We’ll only have the place to ourselves for an hour or so.”

“I’m coming. I’m coming.”

He chuckles and hangs up.

It takes me fifteen minutes to walk to his place. He’s waiting for me, the door open, him leaning against the frame, arms crossed, looking sexy as sin.

So very fitting.

“Hey,” I whisper as I halt in front of him.

"Hey, you," he whispers back, and he lightly drops a kiss on my lips. "Come on in."

I drop my backpack next to the door, which he shuts behind us. “So…”

He takes my hand and guides me to his room. While Ace sits on his bed, I remain standing, smirking at him.

“What’s on your mind?” he asks.

“I overheard two girls at lunch today. They were talking about you.”

“Oh, yeah? What were they saying?”

“They wish you would corrupt them.”

“Hmm. Doesn’t matter what they want, but I don’t want to corrupt them.”

“No?”

“No, but you better believe that I’ll corrupt you.”

“No.”

“No?”

“You can try, but if anything, it’s going to be the other way around.”

He chuckles. “Is that right?”
