Monday morning rolls along,and I text Rob.Hey, handsome. You awake?
I am. Couldn’t sleep much last night. Want to know why, gorgeous?
Why? Sex dreams?
Yep. You and me. How about we maybe make that dream come true one of these days?
One of these days, maybe.
The morning goes smoothly, and at lunch, I don't see the guys. I sit with Michaela and my other friends. It's great talking to them all, and I am so happy that they're completely separate from anything my father might be keeping an eye on.
Unless he’s somehow stalking my every move…
The others leave before I’m ready to go. I figure I’ll text Kyle as I finish eating, but I’m distracted by the two girls who sit at the end of my table.
"Did you see that game Friday night?" the blonde asks the redhead.
“I did! Ace is the hottest guy here.”
“Without a doubt, and you know he’s a bad boy. He’s so dreamy.”
“And that new haircut of his? Oh my God, I almost orgasmed when I saw him.”
“I know, right?”
I roll my eyes. Wow. Seriously? But am I any different than them? The thought doesn’t sit well with me.
“You know what I wish? I wish he would corrupt me.”
I can’t help it. I snort.
They glance my way, and I stare at my phone, pretending the snort was because of something I saw there.
“Where were we?”
“Ace.”
“Right! I mean, he’s so hot that I would let him do me anywhere he wanted.”
“Even outside?”
“Even if he wanted to film it.”
“A movie! You whore! You want to be in a porno?”
“Why not?”
I've heard enough. Chuckling to myself, I get up, throw out my trash, and head to my afternoon class. As soon as it's over, though, I don't head to the library or my room. I need to have a little bit of fun first and call Ace.
“Hey, what are you up to?” he asks. “I can’t stop thinking about Friday night.”
“That game had been amazing.”
“Almost as amazing as what happened in the locker room.”
“Oh, that.”
