“Fuck, Nash, I’m not having this argument out with you here in the middle of the fucking club. You want to get it all out? Then fine, let’s go upstairs and talk about it. She controlled you. She wanted to have sex with both of us, and it was good. Did I love her? I don’t know. When she died, because of that fucking case and no-name, no-face drug operation, was I pissed off? Hell yeah. She was beautiful, and we shared a lot of time together, but she’s dead. Two fucking years, Nash. I think it’s more than time to move on.”

Riker walked away and Nash stood there filled with annoyance.

He stomped toward the kitchen, but as he entered, there was Chastity with the new kitchen staff mixed with a few of the old ones, and she had their full attention. He heard the excitement in her voice and saw their enthusiasm toward her ideas. She was a gorgeous woman. There was no denying the attraction, and holding her on the ladder was torture. The scent of her perfume and his dick shoved hard against his zipper demanding release was crazy.

Perhaps if he were finally able to let go for a bit, he could see himself letting go with Chastity.

Chapter 5

Chastity was sitting at the bar with Adelina. She was the club manager for The Phantom, and they had become friends while Chastity redid the menu.

“So, tell me the truth, how difficult is it to work for Nash and Riker?” Adelina asked.

Chastity took a sip from her martini. “They’re fine.”

“Honey, they are more than fine. Those two hot men are sought after by so many women. Riker is such a ladies’ man, and his twin, Nash, a total silent, brooding type. The ladies go crazy for them when they come around on Wednesday nights.”

“They come here on Wednesday nights?” Chastity asked, realizing that was what tonight was. Her expression must have revealed her interest and concern as Adelina laughed.

“You like them, huh?”

“No. Absolutely not. Been there, done that. Men with money, good looks, and women practically throwing themselves at them is not my type at all.”

“It was your thing months ago. Desi is an attractive man.”

“Don’t bring that asshole up. He has been hounding me to get back together.”

Adelina took on a serious expression. “Is he stalking you? I mean harassing you? Because I know people.”

Chastity smiled. “I can handle it. I just don’t know why he keeps coming around. He cheated on me. I would never take him back. Besides, his friend Luke creeps me out. I swear I think Luke is into something dangerous and illegal.”

“That wouldn’t surprise me at all. So how is the remodeling going over there? What’s the new place going to look like?” Adelina asked, just as Jett came up behind her.

“Hey, Adelina, we’re going to be in the back for a bit, could you let me know when Natalie gets here? I’m going to need to cancel our date tonight.”

“Sure thing boss,” Adelina stated as Jett let his hand caress along her waist. He winked then walked away.

Adelina remained staring at him.

“When are you going to make a move?” Chastity asked.

“What?” Adelina looked back at her pretending as if she didn’t know what Chastity was talking about.

“You like him.”

“I like Flynn, too. That’s the problem. They both aren’t attracted to me.”

“Why not take a chance?”

“And risk getting fired? I don’t think so. Those two pay good money.”

“I bet you’re wrong. Maybe just getting some alone time with them would help.”

“I’ve been alone with them, Chastity.”

“Helping them into their beds upstairs after they’ve drunk too much is not alone time. Or helping them to dodge their lovers either.”

“I don’t help them dodge their lovers.”
