I come apart on the spot, the orgasm blooming in my stomach and spreading to every part of my body, my core throbbing, Jesse’s dick in my ass making the orgasm more powerful. It stole the moment of hearing those three little words.

Jesse groans once more. “Your ass is tight as fuck. I’m coming,” he says, slamming into me one more time and lets it go with a battle cry. He doesn’t pull out, he stays deep and moves with Riley as he pulls me up and down on his dick several more times before coming, his thick cock growing even larger if it’s possible. I feel him jerk deep inside me four or five times before his body relaxes under me. Jesse pulls out first, then Riley grabs my hips and lifts me up easily. We’re all panting, and I lay down on the bed next to Riley. Turning my head, I meet his hazel gaze. There’s something magic about the moment. He told me he loves me. Jesse is kneeling at the foot of the bed.

“Lift your knees,” he commands. “Pull them apart and put them as close to your ears as possible.” Leave it to Jesse to break the moment. It’s my fault for thinking we were finished, at least for the moment. The smirk on Riley’s face tells me all I need to know. Pulling my thighs up, I grab under my knees and expose everything to Jesse. “I want to see it come out,” Jesse says, rubbing his cock with one hand. “Show me.”

I flex my muscles to make the cum slide out. Riley doesn’t move to watch; he continues staring at my face. Jesse, though, he’s transfixed. “Like that?” I ask.

“Exactly like that. We filled you.”

“And I liked it,” I say, still catching my breath.

Jesse reaches forward and catches some come leaking from my ass and fingers me with it, playing with it and me, like I’m a toy. The way he’s looking at me now is different than the times we’ve fucked in the past. There’s less attachment, I can tell. Like I’ve seen hundreds of times in my past, tonight, I’m just a body to Jesse. “I love you, Drew,” Jesse says.

“What?” I ask.

Riley’s head whips toward Jesse’s face. “Did you just say that?”

“You said it,” Jesse says. “Why is it taboo for me to say what’s on my heart.” As he plays with my pussy, mind you. It’s shocking, it’s the opposite sentiment.

“The question is, did Drew say it back to you?” Jesse asks. He sits back on his feet, so I bring my legs down, aware that the bed is soaking wet under me now.

Riley’s face is filled with anger—an out-of-place emotion given that we’re naked. “That’s none of your business,” Riley replies.

“Isn’t it though?” Jesse says.

I want to disappear. Riley rises from the bed and paces the room, his thick dick semi-hard beating against his legs as he does. Jesse stands, but he doesn’t move. “You’re not the only one capable of changing.”

“I didn’t change, Jesse. I found someone who compliments me, who makes sense. My love for her was immediate and it wouldn’t make sense to anyone else, but it’s the only thing that makes sense to me. It’s because I’m ready for it, or it was some other cosmic fucking thing, but there’s no denying she’s mine.” He exhales noisily. “You know it, too. Why would you say that to her?”

“Why does anyone claim love?” Jesse asks. “Tell me.”

I wrap my arms around my knees and close my eyes, hoping I don’t look like I’m hanging on to every word—learning, absorbing all the kind things being said about me. I want to be worthy of their love. I’ve never wanted anything more. When Riley stays silent, I open my eyes. The brothers are standing in front of one another.

“Tell me this isn’t about Drew’s sister, Jesse. Tell me this isn’t about Bethany. Tell me this isn’t about your son. Tell meall of thisisn’t about revenge, and I’ll walk right now and let you love her.”

I hold my breath. After a few silent seconds, I start counting. I get up to thirty before Jesse grabs his clothes from the floor and slams the door on the way out.

Chapter Sixteen

Drew

While ascending to partner was a tremendous deal, Riley marked me as consort with the diamond bracelet. It’s the same thing as wife in the crime world. Usually there is a huge ceremony or wedding, but he says there’s no time for that right now and we’ll have Amy officiate, and we’ll sign more contracts, of course, paperwork is always involved. I wonder sometimes if it matters when everything stripped down to base level is illegal anyway. Will contracts stand up in normal folks’ court of law? I don’t question anything anymore.

Jesse has been gone since that night. His cell phones aren’t pinging, and he’s disappeared. I tried to hide my worry for the first few days, but now everyone is worried. “We have a meeting with Amy to finalize your place in the family in two hours. Meet in the usual room?” Riley asks as I pull a long flowy dress over my head.

“Our wedding, Riley. You mean our wedding is in two hours,” I deadpan.

He sighs. “I don’t want to think of it that way. Don’t be upset. You can plan the wedding of your dreams. Anything you want. The sky’s the limit,” he replies, waving his arm across his body. “Today is just housekeeping. Paperwork.”

“Because now that Jesse is missing, and it’s not official, I’m at risk. I’m always at risk.” Riley walks over to where I stand and drops a kiss on my shoulder.

“If he goes to the cartel with information about you, how much you own now, and God forbid what you mean to me, that fact alone, you’ll be priceless.”

I grin, spinning in his arms. “Am I not priceless already?”

He laughs, shaking his head. “To me, always. The thought of what they’d do to you to get to me is something I can’t stomach.”

“I’ve barely left this room… and our bed, since I got here!”
