“If I have to spell it out for you, you’re not as smart as I thought you were.”

My anger seemed to be intensifying. Her defiance gave me a challenge I was hungry for, only fueling my need to make her submit to me even more.

This woman was dying to be dominated, and the first shot I got, I’d have her on her knees in submission begging for her punishment.

Because dominating the Prez’s Ol’ Lady was my only mission now. The question was, what would it take to bring her over the edge and give in?

Chapter Ten

Shasta

Ramona grinned, throwing me some major waggling eyebrows as she asked, “So, how’s the get back at Sabbath plan going?”

“Shh, keep your voice down,” I whispered, looking around the room that was filled with members and club whores.

“No one is paying any attention to us,” she countered, her eyes immediately tracing every step Keelie took across the room. She was following Wasp around like a lost little puppy, and I sort of felt sorry for her. Sort of.

Word around the clubhouse was that he was done with her.

“You really like her, don’t you?” I questioned, trailing after her line of vision.

She shrugged her shoulders. “She’s cute, and we had fun together.”

“What is your type, anyway?” I asked, grabbing a few chips from a bowl nearby. The whole club was getting together to celebrate Axl’s thirtieth birthday party, but one of the members was missing from the celebration... Sabbath. In fact, he’d been missing from the clubhouse for most of the week. I had no idea what he was up to, but something in my gut told me it was nefarious and not good.

“I honestly don’t know. She’s only the second girl I’ve ever been with.”

Ramona shifted uncomfortably, doing her best to hide her growing stomach beneath the oversized sweatshirt she was wearing. She avoided social gatherings like the plague now, but since she was Axl’s favorite girl, she had no choice but to show up and make an appearance.

Axl was grinning like a loon as Clash set him up in front of the keg, while Warrant came up behind him ready to help him do a keg stand.

“They’re like children,” Ramona observed, rolling her eyes when Axl was lifted upside down and everyone started shouting, “Chug! Chug! Chug!” like a bunch of frat boys.

“Do men ever truly grow up?” I asked, a little loudly.

Snyder snuck up behind me and whispered in my ear, sending shivers straight down my spine. “The right ones do.” His hand brushed across the small of my back, and I straightened, wondering what would happen if Sabbath walked into the room right now?

“Don’t worry,” Snyder said softly. “No one is watching.”

But someone was watching... Wasp. His eyes were hyper-focused on me and the way his dark eyes pinned me in place from across the room had my heart stammering inside my chest.

Fuck, what the hell was wrong with me?

“You okay, Ramona?” Snyder questioned, noticing the water in her hand.

She gulped nervously. “Yeah, I’m fine. Just don’t feel like drinking tonight.”

He glanced over to where Axl was standing then back at her. “I see,” he said, his jaw clenching.

His hand gripped my back, and he pushed me toward the hallway. “We need to talk.”

I wasn’t sure what he would want to talk about in the middle of a big party like this, but I’d follow Snyder anywhere to get out of Wasp’s penetrating gaze.

“What’s up?” I asked when we were alone.

“Something’s up with Sabbath.”

“What do you mean?”
