I awoke with a start, sitting up and glancing around the room. “Wrath?”
“Right here, baby,” he said, stepping out of hisbathroom, drying his face with a towel. He was shirtless, shoeless, and I licked my lips at the sight of his bare chest.
“What time is it?” I asked.
“Close to ten,” he said, sitting on the edge of the bed.
“At night?”
He grinned, nodding.
“Oh, crap, sorry.” I threw the covers off. “You need to eat.”
“I ate, Moonbeam. Got a recruit to bring up food.” He nodded to the dresser. “Brought some up for you too.”
My stomach rumbled. “Oh my god, thank you. I’ll pee real quick.”
I ran into the bathroom and did my thing, then stepped back into the bedroom where Wrath had set the food on a tray on the bed. I sat crisscross in front of the food as Wrath sat across from me.
“The women have all decided what they’d like in the way of jewelry,” Wrath said.
I chuckled. “That was quick.”
“And expensive.”
I took a bite of one of the sliders. “How does Sundance feel about that?”
Wrath grinned. “There’s already more cash in the ATM than we can spend in a lifetime, so he’s good with it.”
Since our stock-in-trade was weed, and weed still wasn’t federally legal, we couldn’t keep all our money in a federal bank. Most of our liquid assets were kept at a secure location we called the ATM.
“I’ll still check with him before I make any moves.”
Wrath nodded. “Probably a good idea.”
I smiled. “Thanks for letting me melt down.”
“Always, honey.”
I held a chip up. “And thanks for the sustenance.”
He laughed. “You bet.”
“Now, did you happen to have a recruit bring up wine?”
“Am I an animal?”
I shrugged. “Depends on the day.”
“Accurate.” He grinned. “But today, I have the wine.”
“I love you,” I said, leaning forward and kissing him. “Tonight you will have full access to my pussy.”
“I thought you were on the rag.”
I grimaced. “I may have fibbed a little about that.”
