“Swear to Christ, Sierra, you need to shut your goddamn mouth.”

“Wrath! What the hell are you doing?” Raquel bellowed, running toward him. “Put her down.”

“Bitch—”

I pinched his side and squealed. “Don’t you dare call my best friend a bitch!”

“Wrath, put her down,” Sundance growled.

“No!” Wrath snapped like a petulant child.

Scooby, Orion, Sundance, and Jekyll surrounded us, along with a few other bikers. Some I knew and a couple appeared to be new recruits.

“Out of my way,” Wrath bellowed.

“Wrath, we can talk… later,” I said. “Just put me down.”

“I’m not fuckin’ lettin’ you out of my sight again,” Wrath avowed. “You might try to write me another goddamn letter.”

“I’m here for a week, you big lug,” I lied. I wasn’t about to tell him I was there for longer. “I promise I won’t leave again without saying goodbye.”

Wrath adjusted me on his shoulder, giving my ass a hard smack.

“Honey, seriously,” I rasped. “I can’t breathe. Let me down.”

I squeezed his side again.

“Please,” I begged, and Wrath lowered me gently to the ground, but didn’t release me completely.

“You fuckin’ left,” he accused.

I nodded. “I know. I didn’t have a choice. Let’s get through today and we can talk.”

He scowled, and I laid my hand on his chest. “I’m not going anywhere for the moment. I promise, we’ll talk.”

“I’m taking you back to the cabin. Now.”

“That’s fine.”

“On my bike.”

I let out a quiet gasp. “I don’t think we’re there yet, Wrath.”

“We fuckingare, Sierra,” he growled, graspingmy hand. “Come on.”

He dragged me to his bike, shoving a helmet on my head, ignoring any further protests, or the fact I was wearing a skirt.

“Hike it up between your legs,” he instructed. “Watch those pipes.”

“Wrath,” I breathed out in frustration.

“You wearin’ panties?”

I scoffed. “Of course I’m wearing panties.”

“Then hike that skirt up, baby, and climb on.”

“This is way too much,” I grumbled.
