So I came up with a plan and started making some calls myself.

I’d put my plan into action on Saturday and James would have no choice but to do something about it.

James

I woke up that morning to an empty bed. I pushed myself up to my elbows, looking around for any sign of Kasia. There was nothing to find.

I threw on a pair of sweatpants and searched the bathroom, the closet, and the rest of house for her. I found nothing.

I started to worry. Had she run away again? Was she in danger? Had the Russians come to take revenge on her for killing one of theirs after all this time?

I’d just taken my cell phone out of my pocket when Richardson approached me and cleared his throat. He had a silver tray in his hand and with a flourish, he took off the lid to present a piece of paper to me.

I raised an eyebrow and he shook his head.

“For you, boss,” he said flatly. There was a spark of amusement in his eyes that told me that this probably had something to do with Kasia.

I reached for the piece of paper.

Mr. Monroe,

You’re an infuriating brute. You have no business keeping me here. I’m returning to Poland. I’ve stolen your credit card, booked a flight, and have arranged everything so that I leave Saturday evening for good.

If you want to do something about it, you’ll find me on the balcony.

P.S. You should probably bring your belt.

Kasia Poplawski

I read the last line several times, chuckling quietly.

When we got home that night, I had taken it upon myself to just care for her, so I could show her my love and adoration. I had let her fall into her role as mafia queen, taking a step back and allowing her to lead to the best of her ability. She was an impressive boss, accomplishing more in just about a month than most men would be capable of in years. It was impressive to watch, really.

I hadn’t punished her for running away from me that night, not yet. Instead, I waited, knowing that she would eventually come to me and ask for it.

I hadn’t expected something like this. She was a devious little brat that surprised me every day and that would make what came next that much sweeter.

My cock was rock hard as I imagined her tight little ass marked from my belt.

Out of curiosity, I logged into my main credit card account. I laughed openly when I saw the airline charge. She must have booked herself a first-class ticket on a luxury line at that price.

I didn’t care what it cost, but I sure as hell was going to take that price from her ass.

“Thank you, Richardson. See to it that I’m not disturbed by anyone this afternoon. I don’t care if the city burns down. I’ll get back to them tomorrow.”

“Of course, sir.” He bowed his head.

I folded the paper and put it in the pocket of my sweatpants. With a deep restraining breath, I climbed the stairs and made my way back to my bedroom. I had several belts hung in my closet. I ran my fingers along them all, choosing a thick well-worn black leather one.

I folded it in half, letting it hang at my side as I fetched a bottle of lube and finally made my way toward the balcony. The door was shut, but there was the second note on the table next to a pair of leather cuffs.

In case I run away again.

I chuckled. Kasia was going to be a very, very sore girl by the time I was done with her.
