She nodded once and walked through the room. Her legs slid against one another, and I couldn’t help but notice the slickness in between them. My cock throbbed, wanting more than anything to sink deep into her again. I tipped my glass and downed a mouthful of bourbon.

There would be all the time in the world for fucking once I dealt with her father.

Kasia returned about fifteen minutes later, dressed in a loose-fitting pair of black gaucho pants and a pretty blue blouse that brought out the color of her eyes. She’d brushed her hair so that it no longer looked freshly fucked. She couldn’t hide the way her cheeks were still flushed, or the glassiness in her eyes. Her whole face was glowing.

“Beautiful,” I murmured. She smiled and looked down at the floor, her radiance only blossoming brighter.

“I’m still wearing… what you said for me to wear…” she whispered shyly.

“Wearing what?” I pushed.

“Your seed,” she answered, her voice so soft I almost couldn’t hear it.

“Good girl,” I praised. The pretty smile that broke across her features was something that would be painted in my memory forever.

I pulled her into my lap. “I have to tell you something, angel. It’s about your father.”

She peered up at me, keeping silent, yet I could see her concern written all over her face. I told her all about the note, the kidnapping of my head of security, as well as the phone call with her father. Her eyes were stormy for a moment before she nodded.

“I’ve called in every favor I could out there. We’re going to deal with him once and for all, angel. I promise,” I vowed.

A knock on the door sounded and I stood up, helping her off my lap and choosing to delay just a moment to grasp her chin.

“Trust in me, Kasia.”

“I will,” she whispered. I couldn’t put my finger on what exactly was wrong, but the way that she said it made the hair on my arms rise with alarm. As if she could sense my unease, she smiled and cocked her head. My senses still felt on edge.

I brushed it aside for now, making a mental note to keep an eye on her just in case she decided to try anything tonight. I went to answer the door.

Both Cyrus and Jon had arrived together, but they hadn’t come alone. Ava and Mila were at their sides. The two of them appeared to be just as flushed as my Kasia.

“I appreciate you coming,” I greeted them.

“I’ve missed you. I haven’t seen you around lately,” Cyrus taunted. He raised his eyebrow, making his dark complexion that much more imposing. Ava pressed against his side, unable to hide her curiosity.

“I’ve been occupied,” I said dryly.

“Have you now?” Jon grinned.

“Would you like to meet her?” I sighed.

The two of them both knew me well. I’d never really settled down with anyone before. I would take a girl for a night, usually no more and they always slept in the guest room. They were going to lose their minds if they found out I was letting her sleep in my bed.

Who was I kidding? By the looks on the girls’ faces, they were most definitely going to find out.

“Follow me,” I offered. I led them into the sitting room where Kasia was waiting.

“This is Kasia Poplawski, daughter of Piotrek Poplawski and princess to the Poplawski family empire,” I introduced her.

“You always had a taste for danger,” Cyrus murmured, but his tone was teasing.

“Perhaps,” I smirked.

To her credit, Kasia held her ground, not showing for even a second that she was intimidated by being surrounded by the most powerful men in New York City.

I took another sip of bourbon and Cyrus cleared his throat. He’d bust my balls from time to time, but he was usually all business. Between him and Jon, Piotrek’s days were numbered.

“I made a call along the way to one of Piotrek’s allies. He and I have had some business in the past. I hope you don’t mind, but I apprised him of the current situation,” Cyrus began.
