“I love you, Lizzie,” Chase said, with more emotion and love laced in his words than I had ever heard spoken before.

Shots of fire blazed through me as the realization sank in that Chase, a man who I was madly in love with, loved me too. Throwing myself into his arms, I crushed my lips against his. A slight moan escaped from his lips as his hands began to roam over my body. My hands ran through his hair as I pulled him closer to me with each tug, nip, and suck of my lips on his.

As our bodies collided, it was as if we were becoming one soul. I couldn’t seem to control my thoughts, actions, or emotions as Chase held me tightly against him. And, as his erection grew against my leg, I knew there wouldn’t be much longer that we could stay entangled in each other’s arms this way without us losing all control.

Parting our lips, I stared at Chase. “I love you, Chase,” I said back. “I am not just saying that because you said it first. I have loved you for a while, I just didn’t know it,” I admitted, as I watched his smile grow.

“I love you so much,” Chase repeated again, as though he couldn’t stop saying the words.

I hope he never did.

We left the shops and drove out to the desert. It was quiet and peaceful as the world around us was blanketed with darkness. Chase pulled over on the side of the road and we got out of the SUV. We walked a little while and then stood together, watching the stars.

Wrapping an arm around my shoulder, Chase hugged me next to him and together we watched the sun finally settle in the sky. As the stars began to twinkle above us, Chase and I didn’t move from our spot. We stood still admiring the sight before us and the beauty of the moment that had just transpired between us.

I felt an overwhelming sensation hit me and I began kissing him. His hands moved to pull me in closer. Our kisses were passionate and needy. This was what I lived for. This man and being alone and vulnerable with him. I felt him pulling up my dress, and then throwing it somewhere behind us. Any other time, I would feel exposed and worried, but we were blanketed by blackness and it was just the two of us in the world. Before I knew what I was doing, I was dropping to my knees. Reaching into his jeans, I tugged at the waistline and pulled his pants down to his knees. With wide eyes, Chase watched my hands as I pulled open his boxers and allowed his long, massive erection to spring into my hands. Moving forward, I took his long shaft in my hands and began pumping. Looking up, my eyes locked on his. I licked my lips before I placed my mouth on the tip of his cock. As I began to suck, I took more of him in my mouth and as I sucked and pumped with my fist, I felt Chase grab the back of my head and move his hips toward me.

I could feel him throbbing in my mouth and knew he was about to climax. Yelling, Chase began to let loose in my mouth.

“Fuck. Lizzie. Too hot.”

Chase screamed out with pleasure as he moved his cock out of my mouth and squirted all over my stomach and tits. I watched him pump his white cream over my body and I began to feel heated again. Anyone else doing this to me would have disgusted me, but not with Chase. Everything was different with him.

It was sometime after midnight when we finally made our way back home. A home that was becoming ours.

CHAPTER 21

“Where are you taking me?” I asked, as Chase held my hand and led me to some unknown place.

He had placed one hand over my eyes, telling me to close my eyes and trust him. He had a surprise he said and I was more than willing to give in to his demand. He was desperately trying to get back on my good side after attacking my friend Jake. As much as I wanted to still be mad at him, it was impossible. After our fake trip to Italy where Chase had told me he loved me, he hadn’t stopped trying to make up for his bad behavior.

“Just a few more steps and you will see for yourself,” Chase stated, as he continued to lead me. I could tell I was now walking on gravel, but I wasn’t sure where we were.

When he first had the bright idea of taking a ride, I thought he meant around the Vegas strip or to go get dinner. Instead, he drove onto the highway and then about an hour into the drive, told me to put on the satin eye cover. At first, I thought he was crazy but as his pleading eyes looked at me, I just couldn’t resist.

So, I did what anyone else in my situation would do. I went to sleep. I awoke sometime later when the car came to an abrupt stop. I could hear a few voices around me, but no sounds seemed familiar. Finally, Chase removed his hand from my eyes and told me to open my eyes. As my sight came back, I was almost blown away by what lay in front of me.

A wide vast array of beautiful colors surrounded me as I realized Chase had brought me to the Hoover Dam. Miles and Miles of a massive hole appeared before me, but this wasn’t just any hole. Water traveled beneath the ledge that allowed visitors to partake in its beauty. This was a heavenly made landmark that people traveled around the world to see. And, Chase had brought me too.

“Is this the Hoover Dam?” I stupidly asked, as I felt like my breath was being taken from me. I had never seen anything so beautiful in my life.

Grabbing my hand, Chase pulled my fingers up to his lips as he gently kissed my knuckles and then my palm. “I wanted to show you something special,” he said, as he looked at me with his mesmerizing eyes.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe Chase was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Either way, the Hoover Dam was a very, very close second.

“Chase, you are too good to me!” I squealed, as I jumped into his arms. Trailing kisses down his cheek and then his neck, I didn’t care that people were now gawking at us like we were lust-filled teenagers.

“Nothing is too good for my girl,” Chase said, as he held me tightly around my waist. “Come on, I want to look at this masterpiece,” he said, as he set me back down onto the sand below.

“Haven’t you been here before?” I asked curiously, as I noticed for the first time how enamored Chase was with the site too.

Shaking his head no, Chase looked down for a brief moment. “No. I never cared to come here before now,” he finished, as he winked at me.

It was moments like that, that caused my heart to flutter and my breath to falter. What this man saw in me I would never understand, but I loved him more each day. Oh shit, did I just think that? Yes, I did love, Chase. I could only pray that he felt even half as much about me as I felt about him.

“Let’s explore this place together,” I said, as I linked my arm through his.

We began to walk to a nearby railing that held information about the history of the Hoover Dam. As we stared out over the vast array of sights and colors, my eyes began to tear. The sun was beginning to settle in the sky and shadows of dark oranges, reds, and yellows danced around the edge of the canyon opening.
