I’m doingeverything in my power to keep my hard cock away from her delicious ass so she doesn’t think I’m some kind of perverted asshole, but the way she moves her body is so damn sexy. She has a confidence about her that is rare, and it’s sexy as fuck.

Shit! She presses back into my body, and she has to feel exactly what’s happening in my pants. I try to pull back to put more space between us, but she drops her hand and grabs my hip, holding me in place. Well, if that’s the way she wants to play it, I’m happy to oblige. I guess I’ll be getting more intimate with her than this soon enough. Maybe she wants to start tonight? My cock expands at the thought. She turns her head to the side and glances up at me, a sexy smirk on her face.

I lean down. My mouth is so close to hers that her breaths cast lightly across my lips. I run my tongue across mine and glance up into her eyes. I can’t quite tell their color in this low light, but they appear dark. I move closer still but am shoved to the side by a woman doing some type of crazy, over-the-top dance move. I tighten my hold to keep Sarah from falling, twisting my body to protect her from the crazy woman’s moves. The lady is spinning around all over the place as though she has the entire dance floor to herself.

Sarah giggles and I turn her around to face me, her gorgeous smile brightening her face. “That was a close call.” She swipes her hand across her forehead as if she’s wiping away sweat.

Does she mean it was a close call that we were almost knocked over? Or does she mean it was a close call that we almost kissed? She grabs my hand and leads me from the dance floor, back to the booth we were sharing. Dylan and Mel are already there … making out. Sarah’s steps pause momentarily.

“It looks as though our friends are getting along.”

I drop my eyes to hers and nod. “It seems so.” Not a surprise for me because Dylan gets along with anyone, particularly those of the female persuasion.

We drop into the booth, disrupting their moment. Sarah takes a sip of her wine, and I watch as her throat moves with her swallow. Peeling my eyes away from her, I take a drink of my beer. We spend the night talking over the music, drinking, and dancing. It’s impossible to have any further meaningful conversation with Dylan and her friend sharing the booth with us.

“Well, I need to get home. I have an early start tomorrow,” Sarah tells us, giving Mel a pointed look.

The girls climb out of the booth, and Dylan and I follow them through the club. I hold the door open for everyone and we step onto the sidewalk; I’m sad our night’s come to an end. While Dylan and Mel lock lips again for a lengthy period of time, I study Sarah. What I would give to kiss her like that but I don’t feel Sarah and I are at that stage. She’s more reserved and I respect that about her.

I tuck my hands into my pockets and lean closer to Sarah’s ear to keep our conversation private. “So, uh, about the baby thing. When did you want to get together about that?” I really want her to take me up on my offer. It’ll give me an opportunity to spend time with her, to get to know her better, because the little time I spent with her tonight has made me want more.

She chuckles and tucks a lock of silky-looking hair behind her ear. “I figured you weren’t really serious.”

I frown. “I thought I was pretty clear about my offer to help you. As I said, I’m happy to answer any questions and get any tests done. Just say the word.”

She drops her gaze, looking at the dirty sidewalk beneath our feet, then raises her eyes to me. “Can I think about it? I have your number. I’ll text you and let you know. Maybe we can catch up for a coffee and talk about it some more.”

I’m not sure what she needs to think about. I’m offering my services, free of charge, so she can have a baby. I try to play off my enthusiasm with a shrug. “Sure.” Leaning in, I place a chaste kiss on her soft cheek and her cheeks flush. I want to do so much more than that. I want to see her whole body flush. Out here, I can smell her subtle scent of spring flowers and I draw it into my lungs. “Do you mind texting me your decision either way?” That way I’ll have her number and maybe I can at least coax her out on a date or something.

“Of course. And … thank you.” She rests her hand on my forearm, her heat searing through the fabric of my shirt, and I flex the muscle. “I appreciate your offer to help.” Sincerity shines from her eyes. She turns around and grabs her friend’s arm, tugging her away. “Come on, Mel. Let’s go.”

Mel and Dylan mumble something to each other with matching grins, then Mel turns to Sarah. “Okay, okay. Let’s go! See ya, AJ.”

I raise my hand to wave goodbye to the girls, like the lame guy I am. “Yeah, see ya. Nice meeting you both.”Could I be any more pathetic?

“What’s up with you? You’ve checked your phone at least a dozen times in the last hour.” With my mind a million miles from here, Dylan’s voice seems loud in the quiet of our office.

“Nothing.”

“Don’t lie to me. I’ve known you for too long. What’s up?”

Instead of answering and risking his judgment, I’ll distract him with a question of my own. “What’s up with you? You didn’t take Melanie home on Friday night.” I raise my brows and rest my ankle on my opposite knee, trying to appear relaxed.

“She shared a ride with Sarah and didn’t want to leave her friend. I got her number, though. So we’ll see.” He taps his phone with two fingers. “How about you and Sarah? You seemed to be cozy.”

“She’s a cool chick. I … uh … actually offered to help her out with something. That’s why I keep checking my phone. I’m expecting her to text me.” He nods and turns back to the computer, his hands flying over the keys. “Do you want a coffee? I’m going to make a fresh one.”

“Nah, I’m good. Thanks.”

I grab my phone and head toward my kitchen; one of the perks of having our office in my home. I’m annoyed with myself that I didn’t insist on grabbing Sarah’s number. I would have followed up by now, but I have to wait for her. I’m unsure what it was about her that made me want to help her with her baby predicament, apart from the fact that my proposition means I’ll have the opportunity to get to know her better. A nice side benefit will be that I’ll be getting laid on the regular for the foreseeable future. And doesn’t that bring a smile to my face. I can’t wait to get my hands and mouth on her body. Those curves!I bring my fist up to my mouth and bite the knuckle. She’s my dream woman come to life. Everything about her, from the color of her hair to her smile to her sweet, sweet curves, is utter perfection. Then, on top of all that, she’s easy to talk with and kind to boot. When she told me how she crochets hats for premature babies in her spare time and how she loves spending time with her sister’s kids, I think I fell a little in love with her. Her entire being almost vibrated with joy as she spoke about them.

I need to remember she only wants me as a donor. She wants a baby, not a partner. Cool your jets dickhead. Maybe with a bit of time, I can convince her I’m partner material. Fuck, the way her eyes lit up whenever she spoke about becoming a mom convinced me I’d made the right decision to help her.

As I pour coffee into my cup, my phone lights up with a text from an unknown number. I snatch it up and unlock the screen.

Unknown:Hi, this is Sarah. I’m not sure if you remember me from Friday night at Club Rumors, but I’m the woman you offered to help
