“You should talk,” Julian scoffs. “Have you ever changed a diaper before?”
“Many times,” Damien says smugly. “You forget Vicky has two kids. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve changed Felipe and Johan.”
Damien said he loves me. I’m still absorbing that. “Why are you acting like this isn’t a big deal?” I blurt out.
Julian looks at me. “Because it isn’t,” he says. “So you’re going to have a baby via sperm donation. So what? You of all people should know that blood isn’t the only thing that makes a family.” He takes my hands between his. “Sophia, I love you. Why would you being pregnant change anything? You’re the woman I want.”
Tears roll down my cheeks. I look at Julian and then at Damien. “Really?”
“Always,” Damien replies.
Julian kisses me, long, hard, deep. “Are we in a relationship again?” he asks when he pulls away. “Is it official? Because Hannah sent me a wedding invitation yesterday. She addressed it to Julian Kincaid plus one.” He flashes me a grin. “I need to call her up and get her to make it Julian Kincaid plus two.”
I hug them tightly. Every time I’ve run from them, it’s always been a mistake. No more. This time, I’m never letting go.
