"Because I thought you just brought me back here for some fun, quick sex and then you call a taxi to take me home because you don't seem like the sort of guy that likes women to spend the night."

He stared at me for a couple of seconds contemplating my face. "You sound like you think you know me."

"I know guys like you," I said, shrugging. "Am I right, or am I right?"

"Well, you're wrong, obviously. I haven't got your clothes off yet. My tongue's not in your mouth. My cock's not in your..." He winked at me and I blushed. "And I don't have Uber or a local taxi service on speed dial."

"Really?" I said, looking at him in surprise.

"Really? I mean, I do have a private car service on speed dial."

"Oh, my gosh. Really, Travis? That's pretty much the same thing."

"But it's so much more classy."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm hungry."

"I can just order a pizza if you want?"

"I love pizza and I would not say no, but I thought you wanted to see what Consuela had made for you?"

"And whatever she made will have to be heated up," and he shrugged. "I don't feel like going through all that bother."

"Bother? Heating food up?"

He smiled. "I'd rather spend my time heating you up."

I groaned. "Oh my gosh. Please do not tell me that line works on other women?"

"I don't know," he chuckled. "I've not used it on any other women."

"Uh-huh," I said. "That I don't believe."

"Why? You think that I'm a guy that has someone different back here every night?"

I stared at him for a couple of seconds. "If not every night, every other night. That's why when we do the deed, if I allow you to do the deed," I said with a wicked smile, "you're definitely wearing protection."

"Okay," he said with a laugh. "And that's because?"

"Because if you're sleeping around as much as I think you are, then I don't want to catch anything off of you."

He shook his head and laughed. "Well, I'll let you know that my last sexual encounter was actually a couple of months ago and I've been given the all clear from my physician, and I actually have the paperwork in my office if you would like to see."

I blush then and shook my head. "It's okay. I believe you."

"I don't suppose you carry your paperwork around in your handbag do you?"

"What paperwork?" I said quickly.

"Well, showing me that you have the all clear."

I stared at him and rolled my eyes. "Really? Travis. Really?"

"Whoa, I mean, I don't know how much you get around. We've only gone on one date and you're already back to have some quick, fun sex with me."

I bit down on my lower lip. He was right, of course. And he most probably didn't believe me when I said this was not something that happened frequently because then it would mean he was special and I didn't want him to think he was that special. But I hadn't had sex in like a year and I felt embarrassed to admit it. "I'm clean," I said. "Don't worry about it."

"Okay, so then we don't have to use a condom," he said, winking at me.
