Hell no, he wanted to see, feel, and hear her come again. His cock hardened at the memories, and he sped up as they crossed a bridge. The sooner they got to the beach house, the better.

When they did arrive, the front of the house was basted in purple as twilight bled into night.

They went through the front door and into the kitchen.

“Want a drink?” Leah asked, opening the refrigerator.

“Yeah, then I want you. We were interrupted earlier, and I intend to pick up where we left off.”

Her shoulders tensed a little as she stared at the contents of the refrigerator.

Carter wondered what was going on in her pretty little head. He knew she wanted him. He knew she wanted more of what he could give her and how he could make her feel.

He also remembered it had been a while for her. Which just turned him on to volcanic levels. Heck, a year of no sex, she was almost a damn virgin.

Well, she had been.

She plucked two cans of cola from the refrigerator and set them on the counter.

His attention dropped to her t-shirt. He could make out her nipples beneath.

His cell rang.

“Damn it,” he muttered, plucking it from his jeans pocket. Brooklyn’s image—curly brunette hair, long black lashes, and red lipstick—flashed on the screen. “I have to take this,” he said.

“Do you?” She gave a questioning tilt of her eyebrows. “Again?”

He laughed. “Yeah, it’s my mother. More than my life is worth to ignore her.” He swiped the screen and walked toward the door to the deck. “Hey.”

“Drop go okay?” Brooklyn asked.

“Yeah, no hitches.”

“Good.” She paused. “Razor said you had a woman with you.”

Carter held in a groan and stepped outside. He leaned on the railing and stared over the dunes at the darkening ocean. A flock of gulls in a perfect V was heading north to south. “Razor has a big mouth.”

“He knows I make the best lasagne this side of Italy.”

“True.”

“So?”

“So what?”

“Who is she?”

“Just a chick I met, okay?”

“No, not okay. What’s her name?”

Carter’s attention followed the gulls. How simple their life must be. No nosy mother wanting to know the ins and outs of their lives. Irritating. Especially when right now he wanted to be doing a little in and out with the woman in question. “Her name is Leah.”

“How long have you been banging her?”

It was what he’d expect his mother, or any of his club brothers to ask, but it irked him. Leah was more than a fuck. She was a classy woman, a professional, and he’d been the first man she’d allowed to touch her in a long time. “It’s fresh.”

“And is she solid?”
