Quentin sputtered like he was trying to form words but couldn't quite do it.

I slammed both my palms onto his chest hard enough to make him stumble and trip over his own feet. "Get out!"

He spun around and bolted out of the house, slamming the door.

Val touched my arm. "Are you all right?"

"Yes."

Adrenaline spiked through my blood like an electric shock, but I would not let Quentin's invasion make me cry. I was too angry for that anyway. This energy created by my confrontation with Quentin, it burned inside me. As I focused my attention on Val, on his naked body and half-deflated erection dangling between his legs, the searing anger transformed into a different kind of energy.

An engine roared to life outside, followed by the harsh grumble and clatter of a vehicle speeding away down the gravel drive.

I blew out a breath. "We should call off what we were about to do before the interruption."

"We should," he said, but his voice had deepened into that sensual rumble again. He inched closer to me, his gaze skipping down to my breasts and lower to the hairs between my thighs before returning to my face.

My gaze dropped to his swelling dick before lifting to his face. "We really shouldn't do this."

"No, we shouldn't."

"We ought to wait until we both calm down."

He moved even closer, his cock now hard and nudging my belly. "You're right, we ought to wait until later."

The weight of lust settled low in my belly, and the need throbbed in my sex from my clit all the way down to my entrance.

I seized his face with both hands and crushed my mouth to his. Our tongues clashed, our teeth clashed, and we consumed each other like nothing in the universe, not even a nuclear explosion, could've severed our kiss.

Val pulled away only long enough to snag a condom packet from the floor, tear it open with his teeth, and roll the rubber onto his erection.

His mouth found mine again, his tongue scraping mine while his hands grasped my hips. He lifted me off the floor. Spinning around, he pinned me to the wall with his body and thrust inside me so hard and fast I gasped into his mouth. He hesitated. With our bodies joined, neither of us moved a muscle, not even our tongues that remained coiled around each other. He clasped my hands and held them to the wall above my head. Letting out a deep groan, he pumped his hips.

I moaned, the sound muffled by his mouth. God, he felt so unbelievably good. I hooked my legs around his hips, pulling him deeper inside me, moaning again from the sheer bliss of his powerful thrusts. His tongue demanded a response, and my body was beyond willing to give in to anything he wanted. I couldn't catch my breath, but I didn't care. I clutched his hands tight enough to sink my nails into his flesh, but he didn't seem to notice or care. Flesh slapped on flesh, every thrust punctuated by a wet sucking sound.

The phone rang, but my brain had shut down.

He pumped faster, rougher, and ripped his mouth away from mine to bury his face against my neck. Grunts and groans burst out of him while I fought for breath, the power of my need growing and growing, escalating into a pressure so intense my ears rang and dark spots speckled my vision.

About to come, so close, almost there.

My release blasted through me in a tidal wave of pleasure. Every spasm in my sex gripped him like a vise. The only noise I could make was a desperate whimpering as he punched into me with ruthless strength, slamming me into the wall. My neck muffled his choked cry when he blew apart inside me.

Panting, we both hung there in a suspended moment with our bodies connected in the most intimate way. His breaths blustered against my neck. Sweat drizzled down our bodies. Time seemed irrelevant, but after a few moments, we emerged from our mutual comas and untangled ourselves.

Val kissed me sweetly, tenderly, then moved away to discard the condom in the trash can.

I pushed away from the wall, wobbling a tiny bit.

He caught my upper arms with his big hands. "How do you feel? I hadn't planned on taking you like that. Not the first time."

The buzz of adrenaline had lessened, but it still had me kind of wired.

"Wow," I said, fanning myself with one hand, "that was amazing."

"I hope I didn't hurt you."

Noticing the concern on his face, I laid my palms on his chest. "Don't worry. I'm tough."
