Sugar, Tina, and Libby watched me devour a large bowl of chocolate ice cream with sliced bananas, whipped cream, and maraschino cherries on it. It was the closest thing to a banana split I could make in the club’s kitchen.

“I’m guessing it didn’t go well.” Sugar popped a cherry into her mouth. Nobody had questioned me when I blew into the kitchen. Nope, they just watched me build my sweet treat.

I flicked my eyes to Libby, then shot them to Sugar. “No.”

I didn’t know Libby very well. Talking about my fight with Storm wouldn’t be right. Not in front of a kitten, even if I knew Libby was the nicest out of all of them.

Sugar gave me a barely noticeable nod to show she understood.

“So is ice cream your indulgence when emotional eating? I can make sure we have more on hand.” Tina laughed, squirting whipped cream on her sundae. “I mean, I’m down with it. But I’ll pack on the pounds if we regularly gorge ourselves like this.”

“Why was this stuff in the fridge?” I asked, mouth full of yummy deliciousness.

“You’re not that naïve, Angel. It’s regularly stocked with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and cherries. Right, Libby?” Tina winked at the kitten.

Libby’s face turned the color of a maraschino cherry. “Yeah, the guys claim they don’t like sweets, but a fair number of them eat up during sex.” The blonde beauty with a button nose seductively licked her spoon.

My eyes bulged, getting her meaning. “Oh.”

“Libby?”

A gruff voice came from behind me. I turned to see who barked at the sweet kitten. Grizzly?

“Yeah, Grizz?” She licked her spoon, green eyes shimmering like emeralds.

“I need you. Bring the can of cream.” He disappeared down the hallway leading to the dorms.

“Speak of the Devil. I haven’t seen him with anyone else lately.” Tina arched her brow. Her gaze was locked on where Grizzly had been standing.

“Because he hasn’t been.” Libby smiled, snatching the can off the table. “I hope whatever upset you, Angel, is quickly resolved. Storm’s not the easiest man.”

I set my spoon in the bowl and turned my gaze toward Libby. “And you know this how?”

He’d told me he hadn’t been with any of the other kittens. He better not have lied to me.

“The only person he’s soft with is you. He’s madly in love with you, girl.” Libby flashed a radiant smile. “Before you arrived, the club was his only focus. And his brothers. He never talked to any of us kittens, like the other guys. If you’re wondering, I’ve never fucked him.” She bit her bottom lip. “But a girl would be a fool for not wanting to. Bye.” She dashed off.

“Okay…” Tina rolled her eyes. “I’m glad she got called away.”

Sugar snorted, swirling her spoon in the bowl. “Don’t worry, Angel. Libby’s never tried anything with Storm. Not that he’d allow it. My nephew isn’t controlled by his dick.”

A throat cleared.Storm.

“I’d prefer if you didn’t talk about my dick.” His lips were on my cheek. “Let’s talk, Angel,” he whispered at the shell of my ear. It always made me melt when he did it.

I tilted my face toward his. “Gimme ten minutes, please.”

“You got it.” He cradled my face with one hand and kissed me. “Mmm, sweet as ever. I’ll be in our room.”

“Okay.” I smiled, running my tongue over my top lip. I eyed his squeezable ass as he left the kitchen.

“That looks promising.” Sugar nudged my arm.

“He’s going to kill Dane.” My eyes darted between Sugar and Tina. “I told him not to. That I’m fine and have moved past it.”
