“Okay,” Reaper said, then added, “Phantom.”
“Jessica Lynn McNamara was born on February 2, 1996, in Miami, Florida to Candy Banks and Travis William McNamara, also known as Toxic, the former President of the Florida Chapter.”
Okay, that got my attention. “What do you mean President. That fucker was just a nobody who whored his days away.”
When no one said a word, Phantom continued. “From what I could find, Jessica had a normal childhood. She got good grades, was on her high school soccer team, even took ballet and drama. But then at the age of sixteen, she dropped out of school, days after her mother was killed. The killer was never found.”
“It was Toxic,” I growled.
“After she disappeared the Florida Chapter didn’t bother looking for her. I checked the logs, Reaper. There were no reports of a missing club kid. They fucking abandoned her.”
“Go on.”
“Well, after she left, I couldn’t find anything on her until she popped up three years later when she attended USC’s medical nursing program. Full scholarship, the works. It was then that she legally changed her name to Banks. Jess graduated with honors and took a job with Kellerman Nursing, one of the leading traveling Nursing agencies. She stayed with them for a few years, before she took a permanent position at LaFontaine Medical Hospital, north of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since her time there, she has advanced to lead nurse. She has a small apartment one block from the hospital. No car. No boyfriends, she just works, Reaper. She’s clean.”
“She’s also the daughter of a former President which makes her Golden, Reaper,” Ghost added.
“Anything else?”
When no one spoke up, Reaper looked at Sypher and asked, “What about you? Don’t tell me you didn’t find anything.”
The young goth teen cleared his throat and said, “Yes sir. I found something Mr. Reaper. What Phantom said was all true, but I found this while I was going through Toxic’s background.” The kid said, sliding a piece of paper across the table.
Reaper picked it up, scanned it, then looked at me and grinned. “That fucking cunning little brat.” He cursed before sliding the paper to Ghost. “Sypher, go get Savage.”
“Yes Mr. Reaper.”
“No fucking way,” Ghost said, looking at me as if I held the holy grail or something. I didn’t know what the fuck was on that paper but from their looks, it was something spectacular.
What I had no clue.
Savage entered the room moments later and came to sit next to me. I was grateful for that, because I had no fucking clue what was going on and when he reached under the table and took my hand in his, giving it a light squeeze, I finally took a breath.
“Savage, she’s Golden.”
“Really?” he grinned, brilliantly as if Reaper’s words meant the world to him. “Thank fuck,” he said before grabbing my face and kissing me.
Holy mother of God, the man could kiss. Lips so fucking soft and warm, I felt myself melting into him. Like a starved man, he took what he wanted from me and God help me, I let him. I dreamed of what his kisses would be like and now that I had my first taste, I knew I would be helpless to stop him.
But the kiss was over too quickly and I couldn’t stop myself from moaning when he pulled away. His hands brushed my hair away from my face as I closed my eyes, savoring that beautiful kiss. “Can’t tell you how happy I am to know you feel the same way baby.”
“Your lips should be outlawed,” I muttered.
“Can’t do that baby, then how would I ever eat your pussy.”
And just like that, my happy, glorious delirium fell to the floor. Slowly opening my eyes, I growled, “Do I need to wash your mouth out with soap?”
It wasn’t that I didn’t like dirty, sexy talk. I did. Just not out in public where others could hear. Call me old fashioned but anything regarding the bedroom should stay between those who slept in that room. Not for the entire fucking world to hear. I had too much self-respect for myself to let some over stimulated man-whore talk to me that way.
And Savage was a man-whore.
Savage sat up and quickly shook his head. “No ma’am.”
Reaper, Ghost and Phantom all laughed.
“Fuck man, she’s neutered him!” Ghost bellowed.
“With a single kiss, no less,” Phantom winked then added, “You go girl.”
