“Keep looking. Anything on those adoption agencies?”

“Yeah, so far, every agency is legit. There are a lot of them too. The last count was in the hundreds. They are spread all around the world.”

“Like where?”

“New York City, Los Angeles, Houston, Miami, Quebec, London, Paris, Kyiv, Moscow, Berlin. The list goes on and on.”

“Jonathon, those are major cities.”

“Yeah, I know and before you even say it, I am already running a search in those cities for any link toLegionand theDivision. So far nothing but it can’t be a coincidence.”

“What about the others, the lower tier? The bottom dwellers?”

“Well, you already know about the Original Seven and the breeding farms run by Bianchi. You were right, Costa is nothing but a drug dealer. He moves drugs in and out of the country, along with the women he sends to Bianchi. As for the Original Seven, the Golden Skulls have identified five of the seven. When they know who all seven are, they will wipe them out. That club doesn’t play around.”

“What about Rabinski?”

“Now that fucker is becoming a nuisance. I have intel that states he met with Ascari and the rumor is they’ve formed an alliance. In regard to what, I’m still digging. As for Ascari, he’s located Ms. Collins. He knows he can’t just go and grab her, so he’s waiting.”

“Fuck,” I cursed, slamming my hand on the wheel. “I thought I would have more time.”

“Well, Bullseye did find the seal team. I say when we get them briefed and secure, then we let Bullseye go get her.”

“No. I need him for something else.”

“We don’t have enough men Gideon. We’re running ourselves thin. We need to regroup and come up with a plan of action. Saving one or two at a time isn’t working. We can’t save them all if we continue this way. I say we just bring them all in and let the chips fall where they lay.”

“Bring them where, Jonathon. The island isn’t ready yet.”

“I can get it ready. Just give me the word and I can have my crew on that island in the next twenty-four hours.”

He was right.

I knew he was.

At the rate I was going, the Division was going to wipe us all out and with the world oblivious to what was really going on, they would reign. I couldn’t let that happen. Too much was at stake.

“Fine. I will drop you off at the airport. Gather your team and head to the island. I will secure the seal team, then head to California and the Golden Skulls. With Ascari close to her, I am needed there.”

“What about Donatella and Lorenzo?”

“They are safe where they are at. With the seal team inbound, that’s more protection for her. I will have Bullseye make the arrangements to have them all sent to the island in the morning. In the meantime, I need you to work on the connection of that damn Charity to everything.”

This late at night the city traffic was murder.

Total gridlock.

I still couldn’t believe the team I was searching for was right in my own backyard. Everything was a clusterfuck but it was coming together. With the seal team located, I was one step closer to my objective. I still had others that I needed to secure, but I would get them in time.

A few hours later, I pulled up to the curb in front of a seven-story warehouse just off one of Manhattan’s coastal ports. The area was mostly abandoned warehouses and definitely off the radar. Getting out of my vehicle, I looked around and nodded, “Not bad.”

Movement to my right had me turning, as Bullseye silently walked out of the shadows. After all this time working with him, he still freaked me out doing that. The man never made any noise. He was stealthy and extremely deadly. I killed because I had to, to better the world. Bullseye killed because it was his nature.

“They still here?”

“Yeah. Fifth floor.”

“Any problems?”
