Ravage laughed, reaching for his phone, while I did the same.

“I’m gonna go check on my woman. Ghost get everyone settled.”

It didn’t take long for Church to fill. With both chapters in the room, it was tight, but we all managed. No one said anything as we waited for Reaper to return. Many were still feeling the loss of Moonshine, while the others looked fucking exhausted. I was too, but I couldn’t show it.

Looking around the room, I made sure everyone that could be here was. I hated not seeing five of my brothers in their respective seats, but until they healed, there was nothing I could do.

“Massacre, where’s Player?” I asked not seeing him.

“Giving blood to Layla. He said he’d be here when he was done.”

“Why is he giving her blood?”

“Healer said she needed a boost.”

“For what?” Viper asked.

“Who knows,” Massacre stated flatly. “Ask Healer.”

Reaper chose at that moment to walk back into Church, halting all talk. The second he sat and slammed his gavel on the table, he turned to me. “Speak.”

“Right before you returned with the others, I held church. Let’s just say that your family is fucked up, but I think you already know that. Well, when those of us didn’t know about your relationship to Bullseye and Layla, it was a shock, but that paled when Kitty helped put some of the missing pieces together.”

Reaper grinned, “You talked to Kitty.”

“Yeah,” I replied snarkily. “She wasn’t receptive.”

Reaper laughed. “Tell me about it. I had to put a gun to her head to get her to talk to me.”

“Though I didn’t have to resort to violence, she did give us a nugget. According to Kitty, your grandfather had an affair while he was in the military. When he got out, he came home to the states and picked up where he left off in the service. When your grandfather found out he had another son with some other woman, he went and got him and killed the kids’ mother in the process. That kid was raised here, in this very club for years, before he left.”

“Who was he?” Reaper asked.

“Diablo.”

“He’s dead,” Reaper stated. Shaking my head, I replied, “No, he’s not. When Pops took over after your grandfather was killed, you know he took this club to a whole new level of depravity. Well, he had help.”

“Diablo,” Reaper said.

“Yeah,” I replied, looking at Matrix, who nodded as he typed away on his computer. “What you didn’t know, what we all didn’t know, was that Diablo, your Uncle...is the Collector.”

“The fuck you say!” Reaper roared, getting to his feet so fast, his chair flew back, hitting the wall hard.

Instantly the T.V. screen clicked on, and a picture of the man Reaper and I knew as Diablo popped up as Matrix began.

“Angelo Sebastian Capribella, born December 25th, 1969, in Sardinia, Italy. His mother was Giovanna Lucia Capribella, the only child of Victor Alonzo Capribella, Don of the Capribella Family.”

“Holy fuck,” I moaned, leaning back in my chair. The Capribella crime family was a legend. Known for moving drugs and guns, the Capribella family was notorious for their killings. Their calling cards were easily discernable, a simple white rose left in the mouth of their victims. They wanted everyone to know who had made the killing. It was creepy yet effective.

“When your Grandfather killed Giovanna, Angelo was only three years old. When he went missing, the Capribella family went nuts, Reaper. They are still looking for the man who killed Giovanna and took her son. There is an open bounty, a very sizable bounty to anyone who has any information. The family has vowed to eradicate any and all family associated with her death and Diablo’s kidnapping.”

“Great,” Reaper groaned, his temper rising. “What else?”

“When your grandfather died, and Pops took over, Ghost was right. He did bring in his brother. They worked together hand in hand for years until something went sour. They had a falling out. It was right before you were taken when you were fifteen. Your Uncle had you kidnapped to punish your father.”

“Fuck,” Massacre whispered.

“He just doesn’t want the club Reaper. He wants to kill you and everyone related to you. He wants to eradicate your entire family line. When he accomplishes that, he will walk in and claim what he believes is rightfully his. When I looked deeper into your family tree, something came up.”
