“You don’t know Kai,” he tosses back at me, slightly entertained.

I refrain from commenting before he continues.

“Kai always has ten scenarios in his head. Ironically, he never thinks about himself first and foremost. He probably thought some things needed to be learned. He sure wanted to learn something about you, or he wanted you to learn something about yourself. I thought it was the latter. He offered you something and wanted a reaction. And he didn’t like what he found.”

“You said I’d lost something…” I murmur, my eyes hovering over his face while he looks at my chest.

“You have to find out what it was,” he says.

I think about it for a moment.

I lost some of my power. It’s so obvious. I lost my power over Kai. Actually, it’s worse. I’ve never had power over him, and come to think of it, I haven’t had power over any of them either.

Whatever feelings they might have, Francisco and Alejandro can easily push them back in a second.

And I don’t have power over the man in front of me.

The one offering me an insane amount of money for a few moments of pleasure.

He has all the power, and I have no power over him.

And I am suddenly eager to get my power back.

“I know what it was. It’s about the man no longer with us in the room. The one you cut a deal with. He didn’t want to see us together. Why do you think that is?”

He laughs.

“Honestly? I don’t care. It’s your story. Not mine. I just want to show you a good time. And make it up to you. Also, I want to give you some ammunition for when you’ll have filthy, dirty make up sex with him.”

“If that will ever happen.”

“It will. There’s no doubt about it. He mattered the most to you. What he thinks about you is the key. Do you think he couldn’t tell? I could tell. These two men fucked you like you meant something to them. You hold them differently than, uh, let’s say… me. He saw it. You didn’t hide it. Everybody learned a thing or two.”

“And now they’re gone.”

“I think they’ve seen enough.”

He lowers his gaze and spreads his fingers over my stomach.

“I want to feel your pussy around me… You deal with them later.”

He drags his finger down my slit and parts my legs.

When I least expect it, he pushes himself lower and presses his lips against my clit.

The first time his tongue flicks my sensitive spot, a current of pleasure sweeps through me, and I open my legs wider so he can wedge his mouth between my legs.

I accept his offering like a queen, draping my leg over his shoulders and pushing my thoughts back.

Ironically, I wish we had some audience.

I wish I could have Kai’s eyes on me.

I have a hard time believing that Kai, the man who’s sold me on the idea of orgies, is now missing in action.

How will he explain his absence to me? And will he ever? Or are we done?
