“Like I just had the best damn orgasm of my life.” I laugh, and he smiles. Grabbing the shirt closest to me, I wipe my hand and his stomach off, tossing it aside. Crew leans in, pressing his lips on mine. The kiss is gentle, but passionate. I can taste myself on his tongue and it’s thrilling, making me groan into his mouth.

We put on the next movie, spending the rest of the night binging Harry Potter wrapped up in each other’s arms. A small part of me was worried on my way over tonight that taking things further with him would feel uncomfortable afterward, like I may regret it. That maybe since alcohol was involved last time, it would feel weird now that we’re sober. But it’s, in fact, the opposite. Things are just as comfortable as they’ve always been, but better. So much better.

I don’t get home until after two in the morning, my mind buzzing over everything that happened tonight. Now that I’m alone, the guilt starts to set in.

I need to break up with Calina. It’s not fair that I keep doing this to her. She called several times while I was at Crew’s house, and I ignored each and every call while I was busy getting head from someone else.

Fuck.I’m going to Hell.

Despite my late night, I woke up at the crack of dawn to work a fundraiser event for my dad’s office. Lots of important names are here to raise money for some charity… fuck if I know which one. I’m barely awake. Aston and Knox are here with me too. We’re selling tickets, handing out beverages, basically just making the firm look good.

We’ve been here for about four hours now. It’s blazing hot, no breeze in sight, and we’re out in the open, with no shade for cover. These rich assholes throw money around like it’s nothing, which is great for the cause, but annoying for me.

As usual, Crew’s mom is nowhere to be found, despite her being a partner at the firm. I rarely see her at these events. How she gets out of them is beyond me.

“Hey, I’m gonna go get some more drinks from the back,” Aston announces. “Be right back.”

I’ve been dreading being alone with Knox since he caught me and Crew making out in the back of his Rover on our way back from camping. I’m assuming he never told Aston, because there’s no way my brother wouldn’t have said something to me by now. I’m not really sure why he kept it to himself, but I’m thankful he did. This is the first time it’s just the two of us, so I know it’s coming.

Sure enough, not even two minutes after Aston walks off, Knox clears his throat, turning to face me. “So, uh, you and Crew, huh?”

An audible grumble sounds as I roll my eyes. Here we go.“It’s not a big deal, okay?”

“Man… do I look like I was born yesterday? Do you not recall me and your brother secretly messing around behind everyone’s backs just last year? That didnotlook like ‘not a big deal’. It looked like a pretty heated kiss to me. I’ll tell ya what it didn’t look like, though. It sure as fuck didn’t look like a first kiss. So, do tell.”

I want to slap the smug grin off his face.

I run an anxious hand through my hair. “We, uh.Fuck.We kinda sorta hooked up while we were camping. The night we all got drunk.”

“Kinda sorta?”

“Bro, why’re you so damn nosy?”

“Because I am. Continue before your brother gets back and hears it all.”

“Yeah, why didn’t you tell him, anyway?”

“Not my business to tell, my man. Now, spill.”

“We, ya know, made out in the tent and—” I don’t even know how to put into words—nor do I even want to—what happened after the kissing.

He rolls his hand in front of him like I’m running his patience thin. “And?!”

“This is fucking embarrassing, Knox.”

He laughs. “You are so much different than your brother, dude. Just fucking say it.”

“Fine! We watched each other jack off, okay?”

He watches—no, studies—me for a moment before what can only be described as an evil grin slides on his face. “My man!” he says, slapping my back. “Why’d you get so weird about telling me that? So what, you guys are hot for each other. Big deal. Was that the first time anything’s ever happened?”

“Yes.”

“Was it the last?” He wiggles his brows suggestively at me. My cheeks heat immediately, and not from the sun.

“No,” I mumble, avoiding eye contact by watching the golfers with way more intensity than needed.
