In one swoop, I rolled, pulling Julia over me as I lay on my back. Her hands landed on my shoulders, her knees fell to both sides of mine, and her hair hung down, creating a curtain around us. “Why did you do that?”

“If I’m so old, I’ll let you do the hard work.”

“Hmm.” Her breasts heaved as she wiggled, situating herself, ready to take me deep inside.

“That’s it. Let me watch you.”

Julia’s eyes closed as she impaled herself, her back arching and lips opening as she lowered her knees. “I love how full I feel.”

My hands went to her hips. “Feels fucking fantastic.”

I watched with awe as she moved up and down, creating her own rhythm. As I followed her every move, it was as if I could hear a song, a tune providing the melody in the way she moved. It was magical and surreal. All the synonyms that meant fantastic could be shouted from the rooftops as our primitive dance continued.

As Julia’s body began to tense, I moved us, rolling until I was staring down into her blue abyss. “I want to wake like this every morning for the rest of my life.”

Julia leaned up, her lips brushing mine. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

“Oh, I promise to make you mine every damn day until you’re tired of me.”

She shook her head. “I won’t get tired of you, Van.”

Slowly, we continued, kissing and talking, my cock never stopping its pursuit as I thrust in and out. I ran my hands over her, caressing and sculpting. My lips and teeth teased, marking her skin in places only I’d see, until there was no holding her back.

Julia clung to my neck as she detonated around me.

Fucking fireworks on the Fourth of July had nothing on Julia. The New Year’s celebration in Sydney Harbour paled. She was a celebration to be near, a gift to love, and more than I ever imagined.

When Julia lifted her chin and smiled, I asked, “Will you marry me?”

“Only today and only for forever.”

It was hardly the moment, but I had just finalized the paperwork last night and time was running out. This was something Oscar Fields had wanted since I first floated the idea of marrying Julia. However, the final document wasn’t exactly as he’d recommended.

I smoothed her long hair over her shoulders. “It isn’t much of a wedding gift, but I have something downstairs for you to sign.”

Julia’s gaze narrowed. “Sign?”

“It’s a prenuptial agreement.”

“I didn’t think we were doing that.”

“You don’t have to sign it, Julia. But I promise it’s for you, not me.”

Our union ended as she scooted up to the headboard and pulled the sheet over her breasts. “I don’t want your money, Van.”

I took a deep breath. “I don’t want to talk about this today.”

“Well, if I’m supposed to sign, I think it’s our last chance.”

Pushing the sheets away I stood, fully nude and still semi-erect. Running my hand over my hair, I said what I should have said after my conversation with Ashley from GreenSphere and especially after what my team learned about the complaint against her grandfather’s will. “I want you to believe that I want Wade to succeed.”

Her jaw set. “I feel like there is going to be abut…”

“It wasn’t a sure investment. You knew that.”

“Van, why are we discussing this now?”

“Because today after we marry, you will have the official rights to your family’s shares.”
