He shivered a little as I closed my fingers around him. After a few strokes, he was groaning in pleasure. His eyes closed for a moment, then when he looked back at me, I saw a different side of him. His gaze was more animal than man. It activated something in me. My whole body felt like it was on fire and the only thing that could quench me was Alec.
I adjusted so I was straddling him, my hips inches from his length. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in to him. I lifted my hips and he slipped easily inside my already soaked pussy. With a thrust, he was fully inside me and I gasped as he hit a spot that sent a shiver down my spine.
Alec’s hands were on my hips, helping to guide my moments. I was still learning what I liked and how to enjoy the feel of a man. After a few adjustments, I found my rhythm. Each thrust sent him deeper and I moaned over and over as I got closer to climax.
My back arched and I tossed my head back. Alec’s hand supported my head, his fingers tangled in my hair. His other hand caressed my back, helping me continue to move without having to think. I felt relaxed and free.
It was absolute trust, pure instinct. I was driven only by pleasure. Just as an orgasm built, Alec pressed his lips to mine. I had to pull away to take a breath, then quickly went back to the kiss. Gripping his shoulders, I continued to move my hips while his hands explored my back and ass.
We kept our lips locked together, his tongue darting in and out of my mouth, and mine meeting his stroke for stroke. A few times, he nipped at my lower lip, sending a shockwave through me each time. It was like a miniature orgasm with each little nibble. Something about the tiny bit of pain sent me right over the edge. It didn’t hurt exactly, but the pressure was just right. It was as if he knew what to do to send me into climax after climax. Finally, he tensed and groaned as he came.
Panting and sweaty, our foreheads met and we stared into each other’s eyes. I could see little flecks of gold in both his irises. Up close, his stunning dual-colored eyes were even more beautiful than I remembered. My breathing slowed, getting more relaxed. Alec’s breathing slowed to match mine.
We stayed that way a long while, looking deep into each other’s eyes. I’d never felt more connection to another person or more alive in my life. I was pretty sure I could feel his emotions. There was mixture of elation and satisfaction with a touch of sorrow. The realization sent a rush of panic through me.
We were too close. I was falling and I couldn’t afford to. I had to break the moment. I blinked and pulled away from him. This couldn’t be anything more than it was. We were trapped alone, naked, post-shift. Any pair of shifters would have done the same.
“That was great,” I said.
“Yeah, it was,” he agreed.
“Thanks for that, I needed the distraction,” I admitted.
“Should I feel dirty right now? Was I just used for sex?” he teased.
“We both needed that, and you know it,” I said.
“I hope we can do it again another time,” he said.
“Maybe.” I wasn’t feeling quite as opposed to working on things with him as I had been.
Sex with Alec was simple. Effortless. Amazing. It was everything I wanted. Our relationship wasn’t. Outside the bedroom, or in this case, the cave floor, things were confusing and messy.
I slowly pulled myself off him and we managed to find the softest, least rocky part of the cave floor to lay on. Alec lay down first, and stretched out his arm. “Come on.”
I stretched out on the ground next to him and he pulled me in so my head was resting on his chest. He wrapped me in his strong arms, our bodies touching as much as possible.
Curled up together, we’d stay warmer. Somehow, laying with him on the floor felt more intimate than what we’d just done. I had some serious issues. It wasn’t just my thoughts about Alec I needed to work through, it was also my own shit I had to figure out.
“What are we going to do about the whole naked in the middle of the woods thing tomorrow?” I asked.
“We could cover ourselves in mud and pretend to be Bigfoot if we come across any hikers,” he suggested.
I laughed. “I’d rather avoid the mud, but I have a feeling hikers would be just as terrified about two naked people, too.”
“Maybe,” he said.
“How far off course are we? Do you know where we are?” I asked.
“Well, I know I can’t count on your sense of direction,” he teased.
“If we had to do that, we’d be better off making this cave our home and hoping someone found us before we died,” I said.
“I can get us out of here,” he said. “We have a rendezvous location with the others. If my guess as to our location is accurate, we’ll be there by lunchtime tomorrow.”
At the mention of food, my stomach rumbled. “Well, hopefully they salvaged our packs.”
“Why don’t you get some sleep.” He stroked my hair gently, the motion making my eyes heavy. I wanted to argue with him, volunteer to take watch, but his touch was soothing and my body couldn’t resist.
When I opened my eyes, sunlight was pouring into the cave and Alec was gone.
