“So you never hated me,” she mumbled and opened her eyes, offering me a small, smug smile.
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Hated you? Oh no, Dahlia. I fucking love you. That should scare you far more.”
“Maybe I was being honest.” She sat up, her fingers smoothing over my bare chest as her legs opened wider, allowing me to sink in further. “Maybe I love that you’re obsessed with me. That you stalk me.”
I couldn’t help the smile that grew at my twisted bunny. She may not have been as dark as we were, but I knew that was because of the bubble she’d been in. The more she was exposed to the life we led, the more it would become normal. We all had dark souls, and I could feel our shadows and our sins infecting her innocence.
The best part? The woman didn’t seem to mind. She was sinking willingly into the shadows, and it made it all the more hot and maddening to watch.
Dahlia Aldridge consumed me.
“You better hope that’s not the case.” I ghosted my lips over hers.
“Why?” she asked breathlessly.
“Because you don’t realize the things I would do for you, especially if I knew you were okay with them,” I admitted, nipping her bottom lip.
Before she could respond, a knock on the door had her blushing as I smirked. Pulling out, her eyes flared, watching where we had been connected, her little pussy looking absolutely wrecked and messy with cum. I let out a low rumble and helped her slip back on the robe before adjusting my sweatpants. I was already missing being inside of her. I caught her up in my arms as a second knock sounded.
“I love you,” I whispered gently.
“I know.” Her smile was coy and had my cock hardening… which shouldn’t have been possible after how much I had come minutes ago. I groaned, watching her walk towards the door and swing it open to find Sterling and Stratton.
“Hey guys,” she chirped.
Sterling offered her an amused look as Stratton narrowed his eyes at the room behind us. The room he was no doubt a bit shocked by. Only King had known to some extent how bad my obsession had gotten in the past year or so. I didn’t care anymore if they knew.
Plus, the room also had a shit ton of file storage for other stuff, so they should have access. It was extremely secure. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be able to get access to all that information about Dahlia, after all.
“How are you doing, sugar?” Sterling mused, unsurprised by her reaction.
“Wonderful.” She then offered me a teasing smile. “Just finding out all about Yates being obsessed with me. Extremely flattering, honestly.”
I chuckled at that as she led Sterling towards the stairs. What was I going to do with her? She was never going to let me live this down, that much was clear.
“She isn’t scared of what a lunatic you are?” Stratton asked.
I flashed him a smile and shook my head. “She was into it,” I said smugly.
“Crazy. All of you are crazy,” Stratton muttered, looking partly amused as we made our way downstairs. I frowned, suddenly thinking about what had happened this morning.
“Did security tell all of you—”
“That you shot someone this morning?” Stratton took out a cigarette and lit up. “Yeah. King was somewhat upset about that one, mostly because he was worried about Dahlia. Seems like she’s fine though.”
“Eh, the murder part might have freaked her out,” I admitted.
“Well I hope it’s not too bad, because she’s going to probably be freaked out again when she sees King.”
I grabbed a shirt quickly from my bedroom before we kept walking down the hallway, following the sound of Dahlia’s voice. “What do you mean?”
“He may have lost it a bit,” Stratton hedged.
Fuck.
