“Have you had a doctor tell you that?”

“No. Andy did. He said maybe that’s why I couldn’t…”. I blush and try to hide again. “Well, you know. He couldn’t make me come.”

Jackson’s eyebrows lift and he snorts out a laugh. “Which one was he? The artist or the musician?”

“Musician.”

He nods. “Yeah. Well, maybe I should go find him and beat his ass. Because I can tell you right now, there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re beautiful, smart, funny and too damn classy for that piece of shit. So if he was making excuses for his sub-par lovemaking that’s on him. But even if there was a problem, it wouldn’t matter to me. I’m not letting you get away from me, Sasha.” His firm lips lift into a sly grin that makes my belly tingle. “And if that mess out in the hall didn’t tell you that, well, I’m sure you’ll see more over the years.”

“So you would still love me if I couldn’t have kids?” I ask hopefully.

“Baby, I’d love you if you lost your arms, your legs…hell, if you lost your memory. I’d turn the world upside down until you remembered why we’re us. You’re my perfect person. The one person in the world that I was made for. The light for my dark. The yin to my yang. It’s all you. It always will be. No matter what our future is, it’s me and you against everybody else.”

“That sounds crazy!” I laugh happily, dizzy with relief.

“Crazy about you. Always and forever. I’ll fucking haunt you even after I’m gone. You’ll never get rid of me.”

“How sexy,” I purr, running my hand down his taut body until I find the hard bulge in his pants.

His head goes back and his nostrils flare. “You think you’re gonna distract me with sex? I should paddle your ass for scaring the hell out of me.”

My nose wrinkles and I run my tongue along my bottom lip, smiling when his eyes follow the movement.

“How about we talk about that later? I haven’t had sex in the shower with my husband yet.”

“Oh, we’re having sex in the shower and the bed and the tub. And anywhere else I can think of.”

He tosses me over his shoulder and smacks my ass. Giggling, I grab onto his bare shoulder, trying to stay still.

“Where are we going?”

“Heaven,” he growls.

Heaven is making love until the water runs cold in the shower. Heaven is coming home to dinner made already. And with Jackson, heaven is wherever he is.

In his arms. In his world. Knowing he’s always watching, taking care of me. Obsessive bastard that he is, he can do no less.

Epilogue One: Sasha

Ican feel him somewhere behind me. Watching me. I smirk and stroll into the store completely unconcerned.

It’s what he does. I’ve gotten used to it. The crazy bastard can’t let me out of his sight and if he has to…one of his men is always following me.

It makes me feel safe and happy. I pick out a sexy red chemise to wear for our special night tonight. Our one-year anniversary. The wedding might have been a disaster but I still smile when I remember it.

Tonight has to be perfect though. I’ve got plans and a big surprise for my overbearing husband that will probably send him over the edge into psychotic territory.

He’ll be happy. I know he will. I can’t wait to see the smile on his hard face.

But for now, I take my time, picking out a leather choker in red that I know he’ll like. Especially with the sparkly little leash. He’s even more of a freak in the bedroom then I originally thought he was. But I like it!

He still says he owns me. And I’m good with that. But I own him as well. His heart, his body and soul. All of that big, beautiful, crazy man is mine.

That night when I’m standing in the bedroom waiting for him to follow the trail of red rose petals to our room (which trust me, he doesn’t need. He’s usually on me as soon as he walks in the door), I smile and glance over at my phone when it dings. A text comes through as soon as I hear the door open and close.

“I’m here, baby girl. What’s with the rose petals?” I hear him coming closer and smile, posing in what I hope is a seductive lean against the bed post.

“In here,” I call.
