When I reached the allotment, I could see Gordon a few rows down, clipboard in hand, no doubt telling some plot owner how to do something. I rolled my eyes and scurried to my aunt’s plot. I heard Toby singing in a tuneless tone; it brought a smile to my lips.
“Hey, Toby,” I called out in greeting.
“Morning, Fliss. How’s your aunt doing?”
“Restless. You know how she is. She’s used to always being on the go.”
He stood to face me, hands on hips. “Oh, I know that all too well. Be sure to send her my love and to let me know when I can come and visit.”
“I will. I’m sure she’d love to see you so she can check I’m not planting things upside down.” I laughed. “Is Luke here today?”
Why did you ask that question, idiot?
A knowing smile crossed his face, and my cheeks burned.
“Not sure. I know he works from home the majority of the time, a bit like you. He gets here most days but at different times. Why do you ask?”
“Well,” I kicked at a stone, praying for my cheeks to quit burning, “I’d like to avoid him as much as possible. We don’t quite…” I shrugged, not knowing what else to say.
“You don’t quite see eye-to-eye?”
“Hmm, something like that.”
“Give it time, love. He’s a nice young lad. Very thoughtful.”
ThatI couldn’t believe. Although he had been nice about how well I’d dug the earth. Still didn’t convince me that he wasn’t a total ass.
I headed straight to the shed to grab some tools. Next, I needed to buy some plants. I could’ve bought some from a garden centre, but all the money spent at the shop here would be ploughed back into the lottie.
“Do you need anything from the shed, Toby?”
“No, I’m fine thank you, love.”
The birds were singing, and the air was warm; it put a spring in my step. Maybe my aunt was right. Being outside would be good for me. If I was perfectly honest, spending most of my time indoors did make me feel unhealthy. I used to love coming to the lottie when I was small. I couldn’t quite remember why I’d stopped. Probably thought it would ruin my street cred.
“Watch out!”
Too late, I heard the warning. The next thing I knew, I’d walked into something hard and ended up on my backside.
Why did this keep happening to me?
Luke
I’d decided to take a few days off work. The year-end financials were up to date, and I deserved some free time after all the late-nights I’d pulled. I’d gone straight to the shed and bought some more plants for the ground.
As I headed for my plot, I saw Red coming straight for me. What caught my attention was the smile on her face. She wasn’t wearing glasses today, and her hair was swishing about in a ponytail. Her clothes were different too. Tight jeans, trainers, a hoodie which was unzipped, and the thing that caught my attention the most? The way her tits bounced against her tight t-shirt.
I couldn’t think of her like that. She was the enemy. Then Marcus’s words came back to haunt me and caused my dick to twitch. Angry sex. I wondered if she was a screamer.
And then it happened again. My mind was so caught up imagining her bent over a workbench as I pummelled her, I didn’t realise how close I was to her. Too late I called out in warning. She was distracted. I was distracted. She collided with me and my box full of plants and I ended up on the floor, so did she. I stood and went to help her up.
“You,” she accused, her serene smile now gone from her face.
“Sorry. This time it’s my fault. I was erm, distracted.”
By your smile and amazing tits.
She sat and glared up at me. I wasn’t sure what her expression said.
