“Oh, I was trying to remember what you taste like.”

Lacey grinned for a moment, then swiped her tongue slowly over her bottom lip, pursing her lips together. “What do you remember and I’ll tell you if you’re right?”

I smirked. “I wasn’t talking of those lips.”

She looked so fucking gorgeous as the slow rise of pink travelled from her chest to her cheeks. She pushed her thighs together and waved her hand over her face.

She leaned down and cupped my ear. “I remember you being a bit of a dirty talker. Now I need to exercise some of that thought out of my head.”

Dragging her down, I straddled her legs over the bench I was sitting on and with no hesitation; I pulled her to me and attacked her lips with mine, as our tongues, teeth, lips crashed together without a single thought to anyone watching us.

I dragged her body closer to mine, pushing my erection into her sweet centre as I pushed my fingers into her hair and angled my face to get deeper into the kiss. She moaned, and I loved the feeling of being close to her and I could have ripped her clothes off and devoured her on the bench, regardless of the audience.

But I’d save that thought for another time. She stopped and gazed at me, her lip curved on one side. “You’re hearing my thoughts, aren’t you?” I said and grinned.

“You are a little kinkier than I first thought, Sebastian Colton… Sebastian...” She glanced to the ceiling and her smile widened as my name rolled so beautifully from her tongue.

“Say my name again,” I said.

“Sebastian,” she said slowly and pushed herself closer to me. “One day, I’m going to feel this and not because I want revenge on my ex.”

“Not today?”

“No, I still want revenge, and I’m not doing that with you.”

“Why not?”

She smiled her most amazing smile. “Because I can’t stop thinking about you and if I have sex with you, it will be because of you and not because of Carter.”

“You can’t stop thinking about me.” I grinned. “That’s because you’re meant to be with me.”

“Is that so, like soulmates?” She raised her eyes.

“Exactly like soulmates, because we’re fated.”

“Fated mates,” she said with a smile, not flinching. “Then you’ll wait for when I’m ready.”

“When?” I said.

“Yes… when.” She smiled.

“I’ve waited a long time.” I paused for a second, hoping I wasn’t saying too much.

“Sebastian...” Her mouth fell ajar, her eyes pierced mine. “I loved waking up next to you, too. I feel you but only from today. Why is that?” She stared at me. “Why do I feel like I know you?”

I grinned, and I wanted to confess to her who I really was. But I couldn’t, not yet. It was Lacey who had to work it all out, and I hoped she wouldn’t take too long.

“Because you’re meant to be with me,” I said.

“I thought you were keeping out of my way.” She smiled and then shrugged her shoulders. “Maybe regretted what we did.”

“Never.” My chest rose and fell.

She closed her eyes and opened them slowly, staring at me as she wondered if she had transmitted the message to me.

Fuck… I got it.
