“What about smuggling? You have coyotes bringing in destitute Mexicans through Texas. Could they be doing something similar?” Seven’s thought has merit.

“You think they want to use Sparrow House then?” I look over at my twin. If that’s the case, I already know we’re all in.

“Guess we’ll find out.” Pulling into the driveway of the MC's garage, motorcycles line the lot, as well as cars in various stages of rusting. Anticipating our arrival, three men in jeans, heavy boots, and vests highlighting their insignia greet us. I spot their Prez almost immediately as I put the Tahoe in park.

These guys are no less intimidating than we are, and I know if we were on opposite sides, there’d be a shit-ton of casualties for us both.

“Castle?” I nod at the man I assumed correctly. “Severo Petrov-Corelli. This is my brother Seven, that’s Bishop Kincaid and Hendrix Adair.”

“Terror twins, huh?” Castle shakes my hand as he smirks.

“They sent the fuckin cavalry.” Another man laughs.

Castle rolls his eyes. “Shut the fuck up, Joker.” The name seems fitting. “My VP, Prince.”

“Hendrix, man, good to fucking see you.” Prince drags the big man in for a back-slapping hug, but he doesn’t respond.

“That’s Cross, Ranger, Pryce, Joker, and our prospect, Rock.” Castle points to each man as he names them. “How about we go inside and talk.”

“Sounds good,” I reply.

As we follow in behind the man, he issues out orders. “Pryce, Joker, watch the garage. Rock, collect their phones. Ranger, do a sweep.” Seven raises an eyebrow at that.

“Care to explain?” My brother narrows his gaze. We’ve learned the hard way not to trust too many people outside the family.

Turning around as we enter the bar that also happens to be their clubhouse, Castle grins, not at all insulted. “No offense, but we can’t risk 'big brother' listening in.” He nods to Ranger as he enters a blocked-off room with a device I recognize that sweeps for bugs. “Rock here will keep them locked up safe. Key comes with me; box stays with him. Nobody touches anything.

Hendrix is the first to hand his phone over. We all follow suit because if the big man trusts them, so do we. Bishop even leaves his laptop.

Seven

Uncomfortable with not being able to answer if Aria calls, I reluctantly hand Rock my phone. The kid is as green as Santo was before life kicked him in the balls, and he left home. “Our girl calls, and we miss it, I’m going to be fucking pissed.”

All of them look at us as we sit around the oval table. “Our?” Prince is the first to ask.

“These two have taken to sharing King Adair’s little girl.” Bishop grins at their shocked faces. “It’s all about her.”

“You share a woman?” Cross looks skeptical. “You don’t get jealous of each other?”

“It’s new yet, and it might happen, but it’s how we grew up. Our mom is with two men who cherish her. Almost thirty years now. There’s nothing better than being able to watch Aria come apart without being distracted with my own pleasure. Or knowing that if something happens to me, she’ll always have Ro.” It’s simple for us. There are more benefits to sharing her than cons.

“Damn,” Prince mutters. “I still don’t think I could do it, but good for you guys.”

“Business.” Castle’s stern voice draws everyone’s attention. “I know you did your research before coming here. So you know we don’t need you for drugs or guns.”

“You need Sparrow House.” I hazard the guess we speculated about on the way here.

“Would you be open to it?” His direct stare doesn’t give away his feelings, and I respect that.

“Depends on your intended use. Who the people are? And if it follows the guidelines of our shelter given by the state. Lilith won’t risk the funding they have to fight for every year.” I fucking wish Holden was able to be here, but he got tied up with King in Panama Bay.

“Refugees from Mexico and the Caribbean, mostly Cuba. We can get them here, but once they arrive, it’s hard as fuck to find anywhere for them to go without winding up in worse situations than what they left. Especially when they have kids.” Castle’s explanation is exactly what I expected.

“How do you get them here?” Bishop asks.

The three men glance at each other. “It might be better that you don’t know that part. Nothing dangerous but definitely illegal, and we don’t want to get Sparrow House wrapped up in legal shit,” Cross explains.
