She gave me a narrow-eyed look. “She was. Then she told me to leave her alone for a minute. She looked pretty upset, Demon. I know she saw you with those women. I’d hate for you to fuck up the best thing that ever happened to you.” My stomach dropped to my boots. Fuck, she had seen them. I groaned and stood up.

“I’m not going to fuck it up. I swear, Jess. I’ll be back. I need to go get my woman.” I hurried off to the bathroom. When I got there, I waited for her to come out. A couple of minutes passed, and I was starting to get worried when a woman came up the hall. I’d seen her down there on her cell phone. As she went to pass me, I spoke to her.

“Hey, could you check on my woman? She’s in there and I want to be sure she’s alright.”

She gave me a questioning look before she answered, “The only woman I’ve seen come out or go in there in the last five minutes was a petite, gorgeous brunette about this tall.” She held up her hand like she was measuring height.

“That would be her. Where did she go?” Maybe I’d missed her coming back to the dance floor.

“She went out the back door.” As soon as she said that, she continued back toward the main bar.

Son of a bitch! She’d left. She’d run out on me again. Only this time, I wasn’t going to let her. I was going to go get her ass, drag her back to her place, and make her listen to me. When I was done talking to her, I was going to make love to her until she knew, without a doubt, she was the only woman for me.

I slammed open the back door and saw Zara standing there. I stalked over to her. I didn’t say a word. I just pulled her to me and then slammed my mouth down on hers. I forced my tongue between her lips so I could tangle mine with hers. She tried to pull away from me, but I held her tight.

As I kissed the hell out of her, I ran my hands down her arms and grasped her ass, tugging her even tighter against me. I ground my rock-hard cock into her stomach. She moaned. I ended the kiss with a nip to her bottom lip.

“Demon, what in the world has gotten into you?” she asked breathlessly. I didn’t answer. I leaned down and threw her up over my shoulder. She shrieked in surprise. I smacked her ass and headed for my bike. She struggled and pounded on my back with her fists.

“Put me down, you ape! I’m not a sack of potatoes. What is your problem?” she shouted. I sat her down and put her helmet on her head. When she tried to take it off, I slapped her hands and continued to buckle it. As she was muttering under her breath at me and glaring, I put mine on. Swinging on my bike, I tugged her hand for her to get on behind me. She resisted. “I’m not going anywhere with you, Demon. Let go.”

“Get on the fucking bike, Zara, or I’ll give the whole town a show they won’t soon forget.” I let her see I was dead serious. She huffed but got on behind me. She tried to sit back, but I tugged her close. I zoomed out of the parking lot and headed toward her place.
