Lee and Eli went in with Ryan Callahan into the main building, which was a beautiful home.

Decorated in the colorful Spanish style, terra cotta tiles on the floors, the walls a smooth gray and pictures, ceramics and plants brightening it all.

Wooden furnishings and soft throws were in the sitting room where they were led, Lee and Eli sitting on the loveseat across from Ryan. “Brett will be here soon. He’s finishing up some work in the office. Speaking of which, we got your payment, Lee, for the two of you.”

Eli couldn’t take the suspense any longer. “Payment for me? What exactly was that payment for, if I may ask?”

“He doesn’t know about Sin Esperanza?”

“Sin…no hope? This place is called no hope?”

“It sounds better in Spanish,” Ryan explained, chuckling. “We’re a…private sex club. Very private. Word of mouth isn’t even allowed.”

Seeing more NDAs in his future, he groaned. “I really don’t want to know. I’m out of this, okay?”

“Not an option,” Lee said to him, cocky smile on his face. The brass nastiness of him seemed out of place in the beautiful home.

“Not an option? Am I being forced into something?”

“No,” Ryan protested. “Not at all. Listen, you don’t have to do a thing, but you can’t say anything to anyone about it. We host the world’s most powerful and mostly closeted men.”

“Like me,” Lee growled. “I’m tiring of this, Ryan. May I?”

“Sure thing,” he replied, then got on his phone. “Anton, please come and escort the good senator to the basement.” As soon as he set his phone down, he told Lee, “He’ll be right here to fetch you.”

“Good. I’ll wait for him in the hall.”

As soon as he was gone, Ryan took his place on the loveseat. “Listen, we have to host these people. The owners set my husband and me to take care of this place. We abide by the laws, and one of those is…anyone that could be resistant to the services here have to be reported.”

“Reported,” he whispered. “I see. And my life would be threatened?”

He was scared shitless, but he tried not to act that way. The place suddenly felt like men would run from the dark corners and drag him away to some terrible place to kill him.

“Yeah, so…you don’t have to engage in anything nasty. You don’t even have to fuck anyone. Just…hang out with someone.”

“What exactly is this place?”

“It’s special, that’s what it is.” It wasn’t Ryan that answered, it was his husband. A much smaller man walked into the room, kissing Ryan quickly before sitting on his lap. “Hi. I’m Brett, Ryan’s husband.”

“I guessed that,” he said, laughing, holding out his hand for Brett to shake, which he did.

“He’s not thrilled with being here, Brett, and, if I’m not completely out of my mind, he’s not thrilled with being here with Lee.”

Ryan was holding back laughter, but Brett scowled hard, making his handsome face twist. “I can’t blame him.”

Confiding to Eli, Ryan lowered his voice and moved a little closer. “He hates a lot of the dignitaries we get here.”

“So does he,” Brett ratted on his partner. “Their politics are completely fucked, talking a good game about morality, family values, marriage is between a man and woman, then coming here and fucking men.”

“Or being fucked by men,” Ryan added. “But it’s the way of things. I try to ignore it, but Brett, well…”

Eli liked the two of them already, especially Brett. “So, this is a sex club.”

“It’s more than that. We provide a home for men that like to get kinky, like really kinky, and in turn, they service the rich and powerful that come here to play,” Brett stated.

“So, the secrecy is important. Got it. Well, I wouldn’t say a word about that, being I value my life. I don’t have to participate, though, so is there a place I can get some rest?”

“Of course. Up here, in the house, we have plenty of room for guests, and the rooms are all soundproof. More of that privacy Brett and I have told you about.”
