“I’ve thought about nothing but this since the moment I found you,” I confess quietly in her ear. “I’m fucking dying for you here, baby.”
I sense her resolve cracking, but she still stands firm.
“I’ve done everything I can think of to protect you, but all you did was run.”
The movement of her chest increases as her breathing turns ragged.
“I spent two weeks in the hospital with you. In the fucking corridor when you forced my hand.”
“I didn’t ask you to—”
“You didn’t need to,” I growl, gripping her chin and turning her to face me. I hold her eyes so she can see how deadly serious I am. “You didn’t need to ask me because it’s my fucking job.”
Her small gasp pierces the air and I use her shock to my advantage, crashing my mouth to hers and pushing my tongue past her lips.
I move against her, my tongue teasing hers into action, but still the stubborn bitch holds out on me.
“Stella,” I warn, my fingers in her hair, holding her still as my head presses against hers, my eyes boring into her angry, horny blue ones. “Kiss. Me.”
Her body tenses, her eyes narrowing once more.
“Kiss me like you hate me, and I’ll fuck you the same way.”
A clock somewhere in the room ticks, taunting me as she makes me wait.
But then she shifts. It’s the tiniest tilt of her head, but I see it, and I finally make my move.
This time, her lips meet mine in a violent kiss full of hate, passion and need. Our teeth clash, our tongues duel as her fingers curl around my shoulders in a painful hold.
“Fuck yeah,” I murmur into her kiss. “This is what I fucking needed.”
“Seb,” she moans when I bend down a little and lift her into my body, wrapping her legs around my waist.
“B-bedroom?” I ask, more than happy to fuck her on her friend’s sofa but knowing she deserves more than that.
“Umm…”
“Don’t go shy on me now, Hellion. They all know exactly what we’re gonna do here.”
My lips connect with the long column of her throat and I lick up the length, her sweetness exploding on my tongue.
“Decide, or I’ll take you right here.”
“O-okay. Down the hall on the left.”
“Good girl.”
Pushing the door open with her back, I kick it shut behind us, not bothering to look around. Everything I need is right here in my arms. I couldn’t give a shit where we are right now.
Her feet hit the floor a second before I drag her jumper up her body, my hands skimming up her sides, delighting in the feeling of her curves that I’ve missed so damn much.
I’ve run this moment around in my head over and over during the past few weeks. I had all these ideas for how it would go. Turns out my planning was useless, because all the things I thought I wanted to say to her just shrivelled up and died the second I looked into her eyes. The second I truly discovered just how her presence, her touch, affects me.
Her head falls back on a moan when I cup her lace-covered breasts and squeeze enough to hurt.
“Yes, Seb. Please.”
“Knew you were desperate for me, Hellion. You were fucking soaked in the diner.”
