"Come with me, baby," he rasps, and I feel my body unleash with his words.

My body throbs, my toes curl, my back arches, and he's the only anchor who keeps me on the ground as I fly and glide over the clouds.

He keeps chanting my name over and over again as his own release shakes him. With one last breath, he turns us over, so I'm on top while he's still inside me. Lying on his chest as we both catch our breaths, I finally feel complete.

Elijah

I watch Eva as she sleeps in my bed like an angel. Nuzzling her neck, I kiss her shoulder and slowly get out of the bed. After a quick shower, I head for the kitchen to prepare her some breakfast. I dial the main house and ask for a few things. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to this kind of luxury. Everything is made ready for us. Like a silver spoon ready to be in our mouths.

When I hear the tap on the door, I open it and come to face with angry looking Jake. I frown.

I try to take the tray he carries, thinking he must be grumpy because of that, but he refuses to hand it to me.

“We need to talk.”

My frown deepens, but I nod and walk outside. We sit on the chairs at the porch. I wait for him to talk, but the silence stretches between us. He keeps looking around with an uncomfortable expression.

“What is it, Jake?” I finally ask.

He sighs and clears his throat. “I saw you. In the pool…” he stops talking, looking embarrassed. Shaking his head, he finally starts over. “Look, I know Eva since she was just a little child. I was here when his brother died. She was such a sad kid. And she was alone.” He takes a deep breath. “I care for her. She’s like a sister or even a daughter to me.”

I let out the breath I didn’t even know I’ve been holding. I don’t know why I was tense, but… I don’t know... Thinking him see us, see her almost naked in my arms sends a rage so bright to my veins.

"Elijah, she's hurt so much. She's still hurting because of her parents. If you’re going to cause her more pain, just stop. She deserves to be happy. Don't play with her," he says with so much sincerity and warmth, I see him in a different light.

“I’d tell you to fuck off, that this isn’t your business, but it’s clear how much you care for her. So, just know this, I’m not going to hurt her. She’s not a plaything for me,” I say seriously.

He gives me a curt nod. “Okay. And if you hurt her, you’ll have to deal with me. Yo

u know that, too.”

I smirk. “Fair enough.”

I see the amusement in his eyes, and he fights with a smile, but he only nods and stands up to leave.

I guess that’s the way he’s given us his approval.

We spent all morning being young and lazy in the bed.

We even had our breakfast there. We took a nap. We showered. And got dirty again and again, needing another shower. We should've gone out or done something fun, but instead, we found ourselves back in the bed, naked and cuddling.

I've had my share of women, but no one has ever made me crazy like Eva. No one has ever made me feel whole like she did. She's ruined me for everyone else, and the truth is I can't even think of anyone else in my life after today.

She's it. I know it. I can feel it in every fiber of my existence. If there's such a thing as soulmates, she's mine.

Drawing random circles on her back as I smell my shampoo on her hair, I ask, “What's your plan for this lovely Saturday, Miss Faye?”

She rests her chin against my chest and looks at me. “I don't know. I'm enjoying what we're doing,” she says, giving me her seductive smile.

Grabbing her ass, I pull her closer to me. “Let’s keep doing it then.”

She giggles. “No. Give me a break. I don’t think I’ll be able to walk.”

I laugh, but my laugh dries when she traces my tattoo over my pecs. Her finger brushes my nipple, causing my dick to stir under the covers.

“These are all quotes,” she discovers. I smile, she didn’t have time to really focus on them while we were blinded by our need for each other. Her nail grazes the delicate lines of the script.
