"Crap, he was supposed to order pizza. Ugh," she groans. "I swear I do everything around here."
"Do you want me to order some in?" I say as Julia and Jasper walk over to their mom, excited to see her. I don't know if they even realize I'm their new nanny.
"Sure, that would be great.” She pulls a bottle of white wine from the fridge and pours herself a glass. “There's a credit card on the kitchen counter. I always leave it there for the sitters. I've just got to take a shower."
"Mommy," Julia says. "Mommy, I made an art project in school today."
"That's great, baby," she says as she walks up the staircase, wine glass in hand. "You can show me later. Mommy needs a shower."
Jasper starts to cry. "I'm hungry."
"Then why don’t you eat something?" Jane calls back down at him.
The kids are eight and six, and yet they're being treated like they should be able to fend for themselves.
"Hey," I say, looking at Jasper and Julia, getting down on my knees. "My name is Molly, and I'm going to hang out with you. So tell me, what's your favorite pizza? Let me guess. Cheese and extra cheese?" I say as the kids start giggling.
"I like pepperoni," Jasper says, jumping up and down.
"Perfect," I say. "Let's call a pizza place and get some food over here for your bellies. And then why don't you show me that art project, Julia? I bet it's something really special."
The rest of the night goes quickly because I busy myself with these two adorable children who are in desperate need of tender loving care. By the time I get them to bed and head back to my own apartment, I feel a renewed sense of purpose. I was wondering why I took this random job, but after a few hours working with those kids, I realize they are the reason.
As I get up to my apartment, I can't help but pause, standing in the door frame, looking across the street, wondering what Major's night was like. I had two kids to keep me company, but he said he's all alone.
I swallow, wishing right now I weren't going to an empty apartment, wishing I were going to bed with a man like him.

MAJOR
The next two days I have work to do at the auto shop, but when I’m not working, I am watching the house across the street. Knowing she's at that house alone is driving me wild. Wild with desire, but also with worry. I hate the thought of her alone over there with those kids, in a new town, without a man to watch over her. So I do that from my property. I mow the lawn after work, so I can keep an eye on the place, and I do other yard work too—and work in the driveway on my old Mustang that I’ve been messing with for years.
Anything so I have an excuse to make sure no creep is coming around the neighborhood.
I have half a mind to pitch a tent and camp right out in front of the door, to be her watchdog. But instead of going all apeshit in public, I do it from the privacy of my own home.
It would kill me if anything happened to her and those cute kids. And while I know it's not my duty, it is a neighborly thing to do.
Todd and Jane didn't even give Molly a chance to settle in before they left a near stranger with their children.
It's not that I don't trust Molly. It's just that it makes me question their parenting. If they were my kids, I would sure as hell make sure they felt good and safe and comfortable before leaving them with a new nanny.
Though I suppose I ought to mind my own business. They aren't my kids, and they're not my family, though every time I think about Molly, it's impossible for me to not imagine her here with me, in my home.
But I saw Todd and Jane pull up a few hours ago, and shortly after they arrived, I saw Molly leave their front door and head up to her apartment. Yes, I was watching. I don't call it stalking, though it probably is obsessive. But I also want to make sure everyone's okay, her especially.
I decide to take a shower, to clean up after a day in the shop. I run my hand over my cock, stroking myself as I do. Knowing I don’t want to get off unless it’s with her, I change the water to ice-cold, forcing myself to cool my fucking jets.
I'm not going to pump that shaft. Fuck no. I'm saving all my energy for Molly, for whenever the time comes that I get her in my house, in my bed.
