“I felt it,” Gaze admitted reluctantly. “I don’t know what it was, though. Maybe it was caused by the fact that she fed us both her blood at the same time. I thought I felt something then—thought that maybe she felt something too. Her scent got so strong and sweet when we were both drinking from her…”

“We’ve never drunk from the same donor before,” Bound pointed out. “Maybe that’s it.”

“We’ve never shared a female in any way,” Gaze reminded him. “Because GrandSire always said it’s wrong and you always agreed with him—or you did until now, anyway.”

“Look, I still believe in the way we were raised, but there’s something about Angel—she’s so damn perfect.” Bound got a far-away look in his eyes. “I’ve never even been tempted before but I can’t explain it—she feels right in a way no other female ever has.”

“Yes, she does,” Gaze admitted reluctantly. “And not one female in a thousand would offer to give us both blood at all—let alone at the same time. She doesn’t even know us—she’s incredibly brave.”

“Not to mention so fuckin’ beautiful it hurts to look at her. Never thought we’d be privileged enough to drink from an Elite, you know?” Bound raised his eyebrows. “Those curves…”

“I know.” Gaze nodded. “I thought the same thing when I saw her, standing outside that cage in the slave market, fighting to save us. But we need to be respectful and leave her alone.”

“Why should we?” Bound frowned up at him. “She’s fuckin’ gorgeous and she clearly felt what we felt when she touched us—you think we oughta leave her alone just because she’s from Yonnie Six?”

“She’s not from Yonnie Six, she’s from Zetta Prime,” Gaze corrected his twin. “She told me so on the ride over here. Do you know she spent a million credits on buying our freedom?”

“A million credits?” Bound raised his eyebrows and let out a low whistle. “Gods! How are we ever gonna pay that back?”

“I don’t know.” Gaze shook his head. “We don’t see that kind of profit in a whole solar year.”

“Maybe we can pay her back in some way other than money.” Bound looked thoughtful. “There are no males on Zetta Prime—or precious few, right? Maybe we could pay her in pleasure.”

“Would you listen to yourself? I think you’re still delusional from blood loss,” Gaze growled. “The females on Zetta Prime don’t believe in letting themselves be penetrated by males.”

“Who says we have to penetrate her?” Bound asked. His eyes went half-lidded again. “We could just taste her. Gods, I’d love to lap her soft little pussy,” he growled. “If she tastes half as good as she smells I’d be in fuckin’ paradise!”

Gaze shook his head. “You need to stop thinking like that right now. Alexa has been nothing but kind to us—what you’re suggesting is wrong and disrespectful.”

To his surprise, Bound started laughing—a deep rumbling laugh that made Gaze grin despite himself.

“What?” he asked. “What’s so funny?”

“Us.” Bound waved a hand weakly, indicating the two of them. “We’ve switched sides, Brother. You’re the one who’s always arguing we should ignore our training and just ‘try’ sharing a female and I’ve always been against it. And now that I’ve finally found a female who feels right to share with you—Seven Hells!—you don’t want anything to do with the idea.”

“Of course I’d like to share her with you,” Gaze said. He rubbed a hand over his face and groaned. “She’s a beautiful Elite, not to mention she’s kind and courageous and generous and gorgeous…but the three of us don’t really know each other and she comes from a world where they don’t believe in males and females being together. Hell, if what I’ve heard is right, they go to special Impregnation centers just to conceive a child and they make damn sure all their babies are girls.”

Bound shrugged.

“Yeah, so?”

“So? It’s not like that’s the only thing standing in our way. Technically we’re Hybrids—not to mention Pitch-Bloods. You know how rare it is for a Hybrid to be able to bond a female to him? And how rare it is for even a single Pitch-Blood to find his Fated Mate? The chance of us being able to do both…” He shook his head. “They’re astronomical.”

“It’ll happen if the Goddess wills it,” Bound rumbled. He sighed and ran a hand over his face. “Damn, I’m hungry. How long has Angel been gone? Seems like hours. Do you think we should go looking for something to eat?”

“No, I don’t think we ought to go rummaging through her private residence looking for food,” Gaze snapped. He ran a hand through his hair. “She’s probably decided to leave and never come back after what happened between us.”

But just as the words left his mouth, there was a cursory knock on the door and then it opened and Alexa appeared. She had changed clothes and was wearing a silky, dark green dress that looked amazing with her creamy brown skin and hugged her curves beautifully, Gaze couldn’t help thinking.
