“Maybe we should wait until he gets here,” Nash said then walked deeper into the room.

“No. You should go. I’ll be fine,” she said, turning toward Nash as he passed her and headed to sit down.

“Who was that guy at the bar? Ex-boyfriend?” Riker asked her then took her hand and moved closer to her.

Nash watched, wondering if his brother was actually going to make a move. They knew Colt. He was a friend of Flynn and Jett. That was also besides the fact that they stood in her boyfriend’s penthouse and waited for his arrival.

“I told you not to worry. It’s none of your business, Riker.”

Riker reached up and touched her cheek. She stepped back and lowered her eyes. Riker placed his hands on his waist.

“I’m worried, Chastity. He was a big man and he hurt you.”

She shook her head.

“He did hurt you. Jett and Flynn brought you up on camera in the back room where we were.”

“We saw him grab your shoulder.” Nash moved in behind her. He slowly reached down and touched her shoulder from behind her.

Chastity flinched.

Riker widened his eyes in anger.

“The fucker did hurt you.”

“Please, Riker. This isn’t right. I’m embarrassed enough as is. This isn’t any of your concern.”

Riker placed his finger over her lips.

“The moment I saw his hands on you, the second I witnessed him hurt you, and saw the fear on your face, it became my business.”

Nash stepped closer to her back. He pressed his body snuggly against hers.

“And mine, too.”

She shook her head as if trying to deny the attraction they were feeling.

Could she not feel the chemistry between the three of them? This is what he and Riker had wanted to have with the perfect woman. He had thought that Maggie was the one, but after Riker’s admission days ago, Nash realized that Riker didn’t feel the same way.

“Please. I don’t want to cause any trouble. I’m working for the both of you.”

“Don’t you feel the attraction between us?” Riker asked.

She took a deep breath and then released it.

“Yes, of course I do. But Mr. Riley, it wouldn’t be—”

Riker cupped her cheeks between his hands and stared down into her face. “I think it’s time you start calling me Riker.”

“Oh God. This isn’t a good idea. Colt will be here any minute.”

“It should take him at least another fifteen minutes or so to get here,” Riker said.

“Are you seeing him?” Nash found himself asking. He was shocked at how pissed-off he got, just thinking that she was with Colt.

“It’s really none of your business.”

“We’re making it our business,” Riker added.
