With strict instructions that we have complete privacy, it feels like the yacht’s running all by itself, with neither of us seeing or hearing anyone unless we call for them.

“There’s an island about a half a day away,” Reeve muses, thumbing his map and notes.

Something I used to think was weird, to begin with, but I’ve learned to trust his training. He’s navigated us out of everything from traffic jams to Black Friday sales.

“The whole ocean’s full of islands,” I tell him, wondering what makes one so special from the next.

“This one has a theme park,” he says, cocking a brow. “A rollercoaster too,” he adds, grinning for my benefit as it finally clicks.

“Oh no!” I exclaim, playfully thumping his broad chest.

“You’re not getting me on one of those again. Pukey Piper is ancient history.” I try to laugh it off, but only end up flushed with embarrassment.

Annoyed that he’d even remember, let alone bring it up.

“Hey, I’m only playing,” he says, comforting me with his hands. Kissing my lips.

“Well, I’m still not interested,” I pout, wondering what he really has planned.

This whole honeymoon has been like a giant adventure from the start.

The flight out a chartered plane, the limousine service, five-star hotels, and now a week on a private yacht in the Greek islands?

“Or we can just hang out,” he says absently, turning onto his front, resting his head on his folded arms, and asking me if I’d mind rubbing lotion on his back.

Try as I might, I can’t stay mad at Reeve. And the sight of his perfectly tanned body at my disposal. Today and every other day from now on?

“Fine,” I growl, feigning annoyance, but feeling my whole body shiver as my hands run over his muscled back, each like a strong pillow, begging me to lean against it.

To get lost in all of him forever.

“Hey! Where’s the lotion?” he laughs, bringing me back to earth as I watch my hands clawing at his body, trying to reach for what I really want before he flips himself over.

His thick arousal is drenched in precome as it stands tall, a good half a foot out from his swim trunks that have no hope of containing his erection.

“How ‘bout I rub lotion on your front instead?” I coo, letting my chest spill from my flimsy two-piece bikini.

The one thing I never pictured myself wearing, let alone on a private yacht in the Greek isles with a man like Reeve next to me.

Especially with this belly.

But he’s not just any man.

My husband.

Mine. And I’m his.

Us.

Reeve groans with satisfaction, leaning back for a moment before propping himself up on one elbow.

His free hand circles my nipples and breasts before he works his way down to my belly.

Holding his palm flat over what we used to think was just him overfeeding me.

“Are you sure it doesn’t hurt the baby?” he asks. “When we… Y’know?”

Always thinking about my safety, as well as our baby’s.

“I haven’t heard her complaining yet,” I grin, shivering a breath, hopelessly reaching for his manhood, and reveling in its heat against my hand before I press my chest against it.

“I love you, Piper,” Reeve whispers, stroking my hair back to see my face as I smile up at him.

“I love you too, Reeve,” I murmur, proving it as I set to work.

The rest of our afternoon already mapped out as the waves gently lap at the sides of our yacht.

The sun shining high in the sky as if it was put there just for us.

Extended Epilogue

Months Later

Reeve

Piper’s baby bump and confirmed diagnosis that she was indeed locked and loaded with our child was the best news I’ve had.

Second only to the day she said yes to being my wife.

So, what could put a dampener on that?

What one thing could detract from our excitement at becoming a mom and dad for the first time?

Well. A call from Clara on our honeymoon.

The news that she too was pregnant. That Rhys and Clara were gonna be a mom and dad as well.

That’s not the kicker.

It wasn’t a complete shock. They are married after all. As happy as I was for my best friend and my wife’s mom. I had an unusual gut feeling about how things might just pan out.

No. It couldn’t… it wouldn’t… I tried telling myself.

There’s no way she could be due at the same time as—

But she is.

I can’t be mad though. Seeing how much closer Piper is to her mom now, makes it all worthwhile.

I’ve never seen the two of them so at ease, so interested in each other now that they have something in common.

Rhys and me?

We’re fast learning that no amount of training can prepare us for what’s coming.

Fatherhood looms large on the horizon, but not as an enemy.

Rhys is out of town, but just for one night.
