How I let her even walk to the truck like that this morning…
Within the hour I’ve dropped her home. Ordering her to at least change the minute she gets inside, and to call me if she needs anything.
“Will you camp out in your truck again?” she asks, the corners of her mouth pulling into a small smile.
“I have to deal with Rhys,” I explain. “Lock your doors and windows.” I caution her.
Feeling uneasy at the thought of leaving her alone, but reminding myself of the quiet neighborhood she lives in. How secure their place is and the fact her mom will be home the whole time.
“I will,” she promises, moving to kiss me before she leaves but freezing up at the last moment.
Both of us are aware that we still need to play it safe.
“Just a few more days,” I rumble, gripping her fingers in mine before she slides out of the truck, flashing me a glimpse of what I miss already as her dress rides up for a second.
Chapter Sixteen
Piper
It feels weird leaving Reeve behind, and I half expect my mom to give me the third degree once I creep inside, trying to keep quiet.
She’s just hanging up the phone again, so I make a beeline for my bedroom so I can quickly change.
Remembering Reeve’s orders.
He can’t see me. Or can he?
But it’s not until I’m changed and I’m heading back down the hall that I hear the heavy rumble of his truck as he leaves.
“That you, Piper?” My mom calls out, sounding strangely calm.
Friendly almost.
Instant red flag, or is it just me learning to live with this post-climactic bliss that Reeve has showered me with two days running?
“Hi, mom,” I call, finding her in the lounge room with her notebook and phone out, pen in one hand as she’s crossing off this and that from an endless series of lists covering a dozen pages.
“How was your first day?” she asks, almost absently.
“My first day?” I ask, wondering what she’s talking about.
Her eyes meet mine, narrowing for a second and then scanning me from head to toe.
“Your first day at work?” she asks, looking askance at me. Giving me a something’s different look.
“Oh, wooork,” I exclaim, hugging myself and stifling a low moan when I brush my still sensitive nipples.
“Reeve a nice boss?” Mom asks absently again, turning her attention back to her lists.
Forgetting all about what she thinks she might have just realized.
No way could Piper have done anything like ‘that’.
Who’d have her?
I can see it written on her face as clearly as the lists she’s pouring over.
“He’s okay… I guess,” I mumble. Hamming it up for her sake.
“What do you mean?” she asks suddenly. “Everything alright?”
“Yeah, yeah. Fine,” I drone. “Just he wouldn’t let me go for the day until he’d squeezed everything I have outta me,” I tell her, trying hard not to smile at the memory still fresh in my mind.
Clutching his sweat-streaked hair as he tongue fucked my tight hole.
Nudging my stiff clit with his lips.
His day-old stubble scratching every itch to perfection, inside and out.
“Worked you hard, huh?” Mom asks. An air of satisfaction in her voice. “Do you some good,” she adds.
“Oh, he kept my hands full all day,” I assure her. Having to change the subject so as not to think about it too much.
My pleasantly aching pussy is already hungry for more of Reeve Bannon and his tongue.
That big cock between my tits… Inside my—
“Honey!” My mom gasps, leaping out of her chair, catching me as I swoon slightly.
“You just sit right here,” she cries. “I’ll get you some water… Might ask Rhys to have a word with Reeve Bannon… working you so hard like that. On a Sunday too,” she mutters to herself, stomping off to get me some water as I chew at my lip, teasing my hair with my fingers.
Wondering just how I’m gonna survive the next few days.
Wondering if I have to work tomorrow. I guess in all the excitement I forgot to ask Reeve.
That damned dress for taking over our final little bit of time together for today.
Mom returns with some water and an aspirin.
“I hope this helps, Piper,” she says, making sure I drink it all down.
“I’m fine, mom,” I sigh. “I just sat near the window all day. Guess I caught a little bit too much sun,” I fib.
She makes a face, studying my milky, pale complexion before pressing a palm to my forehead.
“You do feel a little hot,” she muses aloud, asking if I had enough to drink and eat.
Asking if there’s anything I need to get off my chest.
Clamping my mouth shut, I shake my head. Again, trying not to laugh out loud.
Mom. If you only knew what I already had to get off my chest earlier…
“I’m just worried sweetie,” Mom says, sitting on the arm of the couch and putting her arm around me.
