Seamus didn’t know how to respond, so he kissed him. He’d never heard anything that romantic in his entire lonely life. It was still so hard to believe—Bellamy loved him—but he couldn’t walk away. Jake had told him to go all in, and his son was the genius in the family.
He lifted his lips. “I’m sorry I pushed you away.”
“I was moving too fast. I do that.”
“And I move too slow. We’ll fight like that again.”
Bellamy nodded, waggling his eyebrows. “And then we’ll make up and I’ll make you scream my name until you forget.”
That sounded too good to resist. But he had to lay down a few more ground rules. “You can’t go around renting ponies and bringing singers to my mother whenever we have a fight.”
“Only for proposals and birthdays.” His lips were twitching. “Is that a yes?”
“I did just get some really good emails about following my heart.”
Bellamy’s eyes were brilliant with need. “And where is your heart, Seamus?”
He ran his hands over Bellamy’s scruffy jaw, a part of him still unable to accept the fact this was really happening. “I think I’m looking at it.”
He moaned when he felt Bellamy’s thick erection pressing against his hip. “Can we lock the door, gorgeous?”
Seamus reached for the top button of his jeans. “I do own the place.”
“Shameless,” Bellamy murmured when his fingers closed around his cock.
Only for you.
Chapter Fifteen
4 months later…
“I knew I’d find you in here.”
Seamus smiled, floating on his back in the heated pool, his eyes still closed. “I should be at the bar. It is New Year’s Eve.”
Bellamy snorted. “Thor and Fiona have things well in hand. If the new server is overwhelmed, Fi can just snap her fingers and Wyatt will appear.”
He was right. Wyatt had been following the colorful bartender around like a whipped puppy lately. It worried him at first. He’d been sure Thoreau was dating her, and it would have put Seamus in an awkward position if his new business partner was stuck in a love triangle with his cousin. Luckily, he seemed more entertained than threatened.
Finn’s pub was still Seamus’ pride and joy, but he’d decided to team up with Thoreau when it came to expanding the brewery capacity to handle distribution and local marketing of Finn’s beer. He was a natural, and he’d become a good friend over the last few months, really stepping up since the wedding to give Seamus and Bellamy a chance to settle into their dream house and start building new memories together as a family.
He was married.
Bellamy had only been willing to wait long enough for his parents to arrive, and Seamus had only been willing to have a civil ceremony with just the family on the guest list. It had ended up being the perfect day for everyone except Penny, who was now harassing Uncle Necky to have a big ceremony so she could be a real flower girl.
His husband had made it up to her by taking them to Disneyland for the honeymoon and getting them all the kind of VIP access reserved for, well, people like Bellamy Demir. Penny had been in princess heaven, and all was forgiven.
It was hard to believe anyone could be as happy as Bellamy had made him. Or as angry. Or as continuously aroused.
He could no longer say his life was boring.
Seamus heard the splash a few minutes before big hands were tugging him against Bellamy’s naked body. “Mmm. I was feeling guilty about the kids still being with Mom and Dad until you did that. We’ll have to find a way to thank them.”
“It’s already been done,” Bellamy muttered before sensually biting his shoulder, making him groan.
“What do you mean?”
“They enjoyed their last cruise so much I decided to give them another to St. Barts. They’ll love it.”
Seamus frowned. “Was this another Christmas present I didn’t know about? You already spoiled everyone so much that Tanaka and Declan are planning for next year. Christmas isn’t a competitive sport, Bellamy.”
“Says you.” He sounded smug. “But the cruise was for taking care of their grandkids all day. Especially now that Penny won’t stop singing the lullaby Elle taught her. You know what they say, what you do to ring in the New Year is what you’ll do all year long. I didn’t want them to think they’d be babysitting and dealing with Vini chasing Angus around the house for the next twelve months.”
Seamus licked his lips. “I should be mad at you, but you’re spoiling my parents, so I’d feel like a dick if I told you that you shouldn’t have.”
Bellamy wrapped his fingers around him and started to stroke him roughly. “Exactly. Don’t waste your breath. Just let me take you.”
“Take me where?”
A growl rumbled in his chest when Seamus rubbed against him. “Out of this pool, for one. I want to make sure you know what you’ll be doing all year.”
