"He doesn't sleep around?"

"He doesn't tell me if he does."

"You're too old to be cool," I say.

"Am I?"

My gaze goes to Sienna and Cam. They are flirting. Already.

"He's a good guy. Friendly. British."

"What does that mean?"

"Good poker face. Good at saying bugger off in a way that sounds like nice to meet you. A football player."

"Oh no," I say.

He laughs. "Give me a minute. I have to wash up."

Oh. Right. "I, uh, I should fix my makeup."

He leads me down a hallway. To the restrooms.

They're gorgeous, of course. Marble counters, porcelain fixtures, soft lighting.

I pee. Wash my hands. Fix my lipstick.

This is nothing. Dinner with Ty's cousin. While Sienna flirts shamelessly.

While my heart begs me to drop every one of my inhibitions and fall head over feet.

No problem. Really.

I meet Ty in the hallway. Follow him into the restaurant. "Should I be worried? About your cousin believing us?"

"He isn't naturally suspicious. Not compared to Ian. But this is sudden."

"We have to sell it."

Ty nods and leads me to the table. He motions to Sienna then his cousin. "Sienna, Cam. Cam, Sienna."

"We did that," she says. "But I know you have to throw your weight around."

His smile is easier than Ty's. More troublemaking too. "You must be Indigo." He stands. Shakes with a firm grip.

"I must," I say.

"Not Ty's usual type," he says.

"He has a type?" I ask.

"Wasn't Ty whoring it up for the last year?" Sienna says this casually, as if it's not at all loaded. "Sleeping with anyone with a pulse?"

Cam laughs. "How did that work out for him?"

"Uh, hello, do you see my sister?" Sienna nods duh. "She's a total babe. In a boss bitch way."

"Is that considered a compliment?" he asks.

"Obviously." Sienna looks to me for backup. "I mean, that haircut doesn't say sweet and approachable."

"Thank you, Sienna," I say.

Cam laughs. "I'm not sure she agrees." He looks to me. "What do you think, Indigo? Do you want to be a babe in a boss bitch way?"

"We're getting hung up on minor details. The point is, she's hot," Sienna says.

Cam nods true.

"And smart. And caring. And tall. Look how tall she is," Sienna says.

"She's such a sweet talker," I say.

Cam and Ty chuckle.

"You're tall, too, aren't you?" Cam asks.

"Only five eight. She's five eleven." Sienna looks to us. "See. Tall. Hot. Smart. It's obviously working out well for Ty."

Ty pulls me closer. "I'm a lucky man."

"Yeah. Very lucky. Indigo has many suitors," Sienna says.

"My wing woman," I say.

Cam's dark eyes flit from Ty to me, then back to Ty. "You didn't warn me you needed a wingman. You know Ian's better at that."

"Not everyone can share the spotlight." Ty pulls out my chair. Motions for me to sit.

I do.

The guys follow.

Sienna looks at them carefully. She's across from me. Next to Cam.

Way too close to this very attractive man who's much too old for her. How old is he? I know he's younger than Ty, but that's about all I know.

Troublemaking grin.

British accent.

Strong shoulders.

And a soccer player—

He meets all of her criteria and then some.

But then I'm not here to defend my sister. I'm here to convince Ty's cousin we're madly in love.

Sienna is an adult.

I can handle that.

I can handle her flirting with Ty's very attractive, very rich, very athletic cousin who is a decade her senior.

It doesn't bother me.

And if I let on that it bothers me, she'll do it more.

So, uh, ultimate chill. Yes.

A server interrupts with a bottle of wine for the table.

Sienna shoots me a please.

I shoot her a no way. "Could we get waters?"

She holds the please like a lovesick puppy dog.

God, I want to say yes. I want to be her sister.

So I nod. Mouth one.

She shoots me a thumbs-up. Smiles wide as the server fills our glasses.

"I've seen that exchange before," Cam says. "You're not twenty-one?"

"Maybe," Sienna says. "Only if that won't get in the way of our future tryst."

"We have a future tryst?" he asks.

"Oh yeah. Look at how much it bothers them." She motions to me and Ty. "They're about to burst, right?"

He looks to me. Then to Ty. "A little."

"It's too easy, honestly." She holds up her wineglass with a giddy smile. "I love you, Indie. I'll even stop flirting with Cam if you ask."

"I hope you don't," he says.

I bite my tongue.

Ty notices. Chuckles. "You're worse than Ian."

"I am not." I fold my arms. "How am I worse?"

"More over-protective," he says.

"Ian won't let on that he's over-protective," Cam says. "He wanted to be Ty's cool older brother. The guy who gave him his first pint and taught him the importance of cunnilingus."

Sienna fixes on him. "Go on."

"What's there to say? A gentleman always makes sure his partner is ready," Cam says. "It's good manners."

"Are you a gentleman?" Sienna asks.

"No, but I have manners." Cam winks at me. "Your boyfriend taught me that one."
