He nodded. “Pretty much. There’s a sitting room and large bathroom. Since you sometimes take clients up here, Mr. Asher likes the environment to have all the amenities and comfort.”

That made sense. The room was painted in soft grays with darker accents, curtains, and carpet which was plush under my feet. Completely furnished, the soft leather sofas, glass table, and dark king-size bed were all much more impressive than what I had back at my Vegas apartment. Clearly that storage unit would come in handy.

“There’s a large cleaning staff here and they will keep up with laundry and such. You’ll be notified of when; they will never just walk in and start cleaning.” Tyler pulled open the curtains exposing a gorgeous view of the pool and pristine lawn.

“Thanks.” I was a bit speechless to be honest. You’d think coming from Vegas where luxury was everything, this wouldn’t surprise me.

“My bedroom is two down on the left. How about you get settled and when you’re ready, I’ll be there.”

“I’d appreciate that. I have only the two bags until the rest of my stuff arrives, but I’d love to freshen up.”

“No rush.” With that he left, and I must have stood there for five minutes internally screaming.

The Crystal Menagerie was a place you went to for clients and then you went out to wherever they wanted to go. At Supernal it was all there. And this huge room was mine.

I unpacked, showered a little longer than normal, but it was heavenly, and when I was back on solid ground mentally, I went and knocked on Tyler’s door.

* * *

Tyler showed me everything. Some I had seen on my own the other day, but there were so many hidden gems in this huge mansion.

“How many clients do you have, Tyler?”

We were sitting in what I was told was the Tea Room, drinking…yup, tea, and I figured I’d get to know Tyler the escort a bit.

“I have a steady five who always seek me out when they’re in town. But I also like meeting new people so Mr. Asher will often have non-regulars meet with me.”

“Ever had an unruly client?”

Tyler snorted before taking a sip of his tea. “Once, nothing big. The man had hired me to escort him to his sister’s wedding. We had an amazing time but then he seemed to think we’d have sex. These are things that are discussed ahead of time. However, there are in the moment situations, but transactions are made, or we decide to forgo payment for sex, if we want.”

“And I’m guessing this guy wanted sex on his terms.”

Tyler pointed his finger at me. “You got it. I refused, he got handsy, and when I stormed out and called Mr. Asher, he dealt with it.”

I placed my teacup on the saucer and sat back. “What’d he do?”

Tyler shrugged. “Not sure, but the dude is blacklisted, and I never heard from him again.”

Interesting.

The door to the room opened and Dane waltzed in, tablet in hand and a smile in place.

“Good afternoon, gentleman.”

“Hi, Dane. Want some tea?” Tyler offered.

“No, thank you. I came to tell you Gregory would like your company this evening. And, Crew, Mr. Asher would like to see you this evening to go over prospective clients with you.”

“Oh, okay, that’s great.” I nodded.

“What time for Gregory?” Tyler stood.

“Seven, you have a few hours.”

“And what time would Mr. Asher like to see me?”

Dane’s smile never faltered. “At dinner, seven should work well, that way you and Tyler part ways at the same time.”
