Adam led the way. “And if not, we’ve got all night. As long as it takes.”

The room spun as I landed on my back in my bed. Looking up at the three of my men, I crawled towards the headboard, just for Ian to grab my ankle and pull me back down to them. I laughed, full of joy as I pretended to try to get away from them. They know the truth, though. I didn’t want to get away.

Maybe ever.

I pushed that thought away as I locked my legs around Adam and tried to do a twist move I’d seen on TV once. It’d seemed so easy. When it didn’t work, I grabbed his shirt and yanked him forward, getting what I wanted in the long run. He pinned me, and the night should’ve shifted then into something serious and sexy. When they finally filled me, though, I felt like I was floating on a cloud. I felt light and happy. I came with a grin on my face each time.

It wasn’t until hours later, while I was sitting on the couch and listening for the oven timer, that I realized that we’d made love. Easy, light, carefree love. Love.

34.

***Adam***

Ianleanedoverandpatted my shoulder. “You’re a braver man than us.”

I looked out at the ice rink and rubbed my face. “Not braver. Just…dumb. And under her spell. She looked at me with those big green eyes and I just said sure.”

“Even though you don’t know how to skate.” Jayden winced. “If you break your back, I’m not picking up the slack for you. You’re still going to have to beat the shit out of whatever poor fuck looks at her for too long.”

Ian grinned. “Look at us. This is bonding, right? Talking about, and watching, one of us dying in an unfortunate ice death?”

“I hate both of you.” I tried standing up, promptly lost my balance, and landed back on the bench. “Yet I hate myself more.”

Jayden groaned, his attention drawn elsewhere. “We’re going to have to kill everyone.”

I looked back to see what he was talking about and froze. Violet was hurrying towards us, dressed in a skintight suit that showed her curves, cleavage, and everything else that made my mouth water. It was black, but that did nothing to hide her body. I didn’t know what she was wearing, but I wanted her out of it and into my bed.

Ian sounded pained as he spoke. “I’m going to ice skate. I can do it.”

I reached over and slapped his chest. “Fuck off. I’m dying alone today.”

Violet stopped in front of me, a bright smile on her face. Her nose was already bright red from the cold, but she looked like she didn’t feel a thing. “I’m so happy you agreed to come out with me. I love ice skating.”

“Yep. Same.” I ran my eyes down her frame. “I like this outfit.”

She bent forward and giggled when the three of us groaned in unison at the view down her top. “It’s so warm. I’ve gotten a few stares, but I don’t care. I’m here with you three, and as long as you don’t find me repulsive, it doesn’t matter.”

Jayden scoffed. “I could eat you up right now, Angel. You look… hot. Which is an understatement.”

Ian growled. “Hurry up and skate so I can get you home and fuck you senseless.”

A man walking by shot a look at Ian and then glanced back at Violet. His eyes widened and he stumbled a step. I watched him stop and turn around to take his time checking her out, unaware that I was seconds from breaking his face.

“Ready?” Violet held her hand out to me. “I want to beat the kids. Once they show up, chaos erupts.”

Jayden nodded at me before standing up and moving towards the peeping asshole. I didn’t get a chance to see anything after that because I was involved in a series of unfortunate events that led to a crime.

It turned out that ice skating wasn’t something I could just pick up. I lost count of the times I fell on my ass after my ass was numb. It just seemed cruel to keep counting. I could hear Jayden and Ian cackling like a couple of old ladies each time I fell. I could also see Violet hide a giggle behind her gloved hand. Meanwhile, I felt like throwing my ice skates across the park.

It only got worse when the kids showed up. A ten-year-old little shit kept circling me, trying to tell me what to do, while Violet giggled even harder. The boy taunted me when I couldn’t stay on my feet for longer than a few seconds, claiming it helped him when his dad shouted at him during his games.

There I was, hurting, being shamed by a child and laughed at by my woman, when the kid made a scene by forcing everyone around to stop and cheer me on. The crime came when it was clear I wasn’t getting it. The asshole shoved one of little plastic guides at me and shook his head before giving up on me. Everyone he’d gathered awkwardly skated off in complete silence.

I gave up, lying flat on my back on the ice. I was prepared to die there. Staring up at Violet, I groaned as my back ached. “Leave me.”

She was still giggling but trying her hardest not to. “Never. Do you want me to pull you to the sidelines?”

I glared at her. “I have been embarrassed enough, little rabbit.”
