Kissing me quickly, he walked out the door and I made my way to the bathroom.
Sierra
Afew dayslater, I walked into the kitchen after the Costco run with the other women and found my man pulling a beer from the fridge. “Hey there, honey.”
Wrath grinned, leaning down to kiss me. “Hey, baby. Good haul?”
“Yeah. The guys are putting everything away now.”
He held up a baggie of gummies. “I have some goodies.”
“Oh my god, are those the new edibles Raquel came up with?”
“They are.”
I rubbed my hands together in anticipation. “I’ll take two.”
“They’re strong, baby, let’s maybe start with one.”
“Or,you could allow me, a grown ass adult, to decide for myself, and hand me two of those puppies.” I flapped my fingers in a silent demand to hand them over.
He raised an eyebrow but did as I asked. I popped them in my mouth and ate them quickly… I loved what they did for me but didn’t particularly like the ‘pot’ taste.
“Are you hungry?” I asked. “I was going to make a sandwich, want one?”
“Yeah, baby, that’d be great,” he said just as Raquel walked in, eyeing the Ziploc bag on the island.
“I see you found my new treats.”
I grinned. “Sure did.”
“Go easy,” she warned. “I doubled the dose.”
“Doubled? Really?” I swallowed nervously. “Um, I just took two.”
“What? You didn’t.”
“I did.”
Raquel gasped and turned-on Wrath. “You let her take two?”
Wrath raised his hands in surrender. “I didn’t have any say in the matter.”
“You didn’t warn her?”
“He tried,” I admitted.
“Anjanette!” Raquel admonished.
“Razzle, it’s fine. I’m not a lightweight,” I pointed out.
“I’ve got her, sweetheart,” Wrath said to Raquel. “Don’t worry.”
Raquel sighed. “Okay, but seriously, babe, maybe listen to your man next time, huh?”
I gave her a finger wave. “Hi Pot, I’m Kettle.”
She rolled her eyes, grabbed a can of pop out of the fridge, then walked away.
